The pit stop in the "race" of our life Gospel of Sunday February 25 2018 Dear friends, the Gospel of the Transfiguration of the Lord, which we're going to listen, tomorrow, Sunday, February 25, II of Lent, assures us that if we have the courage to find some time each day to leave the "valley" of the thousand voices, illusions and concerns of our daily life to "dare" the arduous and difficult climbing of the "silent mountain" of the encounter with Jesus in prayer, it will be for us as a sort of "pit stop” so to speak, to fuel our heart with light, love, life, joy, enthusiasm, strength which we need to "burn" our selfishness, to cross the finish line and win "the race" of our life!
