Philippine Synod Turns Into Kindergarten For Adults (Video)

The Philippine Synod consisting of 200 bishops, clergy and lay people met July 4-7 in Tagaytay City south of Manila.

The intention was to discuss concerns of the Church. However, a video (below) published by Eric Sammons (CrisisMagazine.com) shows how the assembly turned into a kindergarten for adults singing and dancing to the tune “Walking with Jesus - This is the synod way.”

For Sammons, this is a perfect example of why so many young men flee the [infantile] Church.

One of those excruciating moments when one wants to curl up or crawl away because one is so embarrassed for other people. Why would grown-ups even go along with this and make complete fools of themselves? Is it just me or am I starting to see Heil Hitler salutes sneaked in everywhere? Rather limp-wristed ones here, to be honest.

How can grown adults make such fools of themselves by acting so infantile? The human race is in real trouble when the supposedly "devout" ones charged with guiding the Church act like empty-headed children and think it's wonderful. Some horrible zeitgeist has taken hold of the human race.
