Several busloads of youth and chaperons who attended the 43rd Annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. are among hundreds of vehicles stranded on the Pennsylvania Turnpike since Friday night.
Their wait will continue through Saturday night, since the bus drivers are past their 100 hour driving limit and must await replacement drivers to complete the trip. Snow plows are slowly making progress clearing the roads.
Among the events not soon to be forgotten, a large road-side Mass was held with an altar made of snow. Pictures are included in the link below.

@Uncle Joe I'm giving thought to joining the circus, left to walk a fine line between them and you.
Dear Abramo,
.
Here's the audio.
I can't find a good vid with audio and video for the speech.More
@Uncle Joe: I think there is something wrong with the sound of the video.
Dear Gloria, D.C.,
.
This vid is a bit hyperbolic but, after all, it's Hollywood. In my dreams, if I were the 'Man in White' I would demand that every seminarian saw this video each year they were in the seminary and that every priest see it every year they were in the priesthood and, most importantly, every bishop would view this at least twice a year.

There was a time when we here on earth used to be referred to as the “Church Militant.” No more.

@Abramo, isn't it true that, by virtue of their baptism, Catholics are born to fight? Sadly it is true that many, most, do not fight, do not want to fight...

Well, @Uncle Joe, I don't know that I'm quite as discouraged as you sound. Among those inundated with "ecumenism crap" are many who sincerely seek to give their whole lives to God. I'm all with you in saying proper education is a very big, the largest single problem, and false notions of ecumenism brought it on. But I've met plenty educated with no fire. And so we pray, to sincerely love Him who …More

Many (most?) Catholics do not want to fight.
Christian Pacifism has become the standard operating procedure nowadays. Resistance/fighting, for a worthy unselfish cause, doesn't come easily to those who have not been properly educated and trained. "When Muslims in Afghanistan heard that the Koran was being flushed down the toilet in far away Guantanamo Bay, they rioted. For them the battle against Satan is very real, and they are willing to sacrifice their lives.
"Question the details of the Holocaust, and Jews will cite "hate crimes" and put you in jail. But do the same thing with the central fact of Christianity and there is a call for a boycott from the Catholic Church.
What good are Christian beliefs if you don't stand up for them? Where is the self-respect of Christians if they allow their beliefs to be trampled on?

@Abramo, you're absolutely right! And God permits it because, for some, it will steel their resolve, and he needs us resolved to fight 'til the end! It's a gift to be pushed to the point we finally hear ourselves say, "Lord! You ask too much!" and then consciously decide, "to whom we shall go"!
