Heroic Deed: Why This Priest Died from Coronavirus Pneumonia

Father Giuseppe Berardelli, 72, the parish-priest of Casnigo, Bergamo, Italy, died from Coronavirus pneumonia because he gave his private ventilator to a younger patient.

The ventilator was donated to him by his parishioners. Berardelli could not survive without this lifesaving treatment. He died in the hospital of Lovere.

Meanwhile, in Italy 65 Italian priests - out of 50.000 - succumbed to Coronavirus infections, most of them very old, up to 104 years.
