Father James Martin Disinvited

The gay-activist, Father James Martin S.J., has been disinvited as keynote speaker at the October Gala Dinner of the Order the Holy Sepulchre, reports Church Militant. Various members of the order had protested against Martin's presence.

The Grand Master of the order is New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan. It can be supposed that he approved Martin's invitation. Martin will be replaced by Father Benedict Kiely who supports Christians in the Middle East.
