A group of left-wing Basque nationalists attacked the huge San Fermín procession in Pamplona, Spain, in the early afternoon of July 7 in the Calle Curia when the procession had almost reached the cathedral.
They rebuked, pushed, shoved, and insulted the city councillors and the mayor who were taking part in the procession, the policemen on duty, Pamplona Archbishop Francisco Pérez González, 75, the chapter of the cathedral, and the clergy.
The attackers held up the slogan "Bizi nahi dugu" [We want to live in Basque], threw glasses, tore the birettas off the heads of the canons and tugged at the cathedral dean's cope.
At least three officers were injured, one with a broken nose. This was not the first time the procession was attacked which had been suspended the previous two years because of the Covid hysteria.

No man has ever seen a revolution. Mobs pouring through the palaces, blood pouring down the gutters, the guillotine lifted higher than the throne, a prison in ruins, a people in arms — these things are not revolution, but the results of revolution.
