WYD Cultural Program Participants Must Be Endorsed by Bishops' Conferences
It has come to our attention that Michael Voris, a US based media producer, is scheduled to offer independent catechesis sessions out of a hotel in Madrid during World Youth Day 2011. There has been some confusion regarding his affiliation with World Youth Day. Michael Voris, the clergy and the laity associated with him, and their media efforts “Real Catholic TV” and “No Bull in Madrid” are not in any way recognized or approved by World Youth Day 2011. (16-21 August)
The Vatican's Pontifical Council for the Laity selects and invites Bishops, and only Bishops, from around the world to conduct Catechesis sessions at WYD in various languages.

My Opinion and thoughts:Are the Homosexual groups, the anti catholic groups and any other group who will be at WYD endorsed by the Bishop's Conference?
I can be quite safe saying that Mr. Voris did not pledge obedience to the National Conference of Catholic Bishops.
I wonder how much MONEY the hosting church at Madrid will make on this function. Is Mr Voris cutting into their profit? NOW THIS may …More

Surely, Raymond Cardinal Burke would vouche for Mr. Voris as well as Many other priests and bishops (interviewed by him) andwho have given him nothing but praise in the work he does and his Fildelity to Holy Mother Church and The Pope. 
The problem with Voris is very well exemplified by his attempt at a parallel activity. There is a blessing in being obedient to the Church, especially to her bishops in communion with the Pope. Unfortunately, Voris delides himself thinking that he can vet those who were charged with shepherding the people of God.
I'll echo what everyone has correctly stated. The Bishops cannot point to one heterodox statement made by Mr. Voris or his organization, not one.

What a JOKE! I echo what the other posters say and add the the WE, the LAYITY, will save the CHURCH, not the bishops.The Bishops need to grow a pair and address the real problems in the church.
We need Real Masculine Leadership in the Church. I wonder how many bishops would be told "Get Behind Me, Satan." by Christ today?

Go for it Michael! You have met with plenty of good bishops, such as Raymond Cardinal Burke's personal interview, etc,. etc., Sounds like some jealously going on maybe... Michael will be one of Few if Any Teaching the TRUE Faith to these young people who need to hear it!

If history is any indication, there will be groups at WYD passing out condoms and anti-Catholic literature. Where’s the Bishops' Press Release warning everyone about THEM?
If a pant load of Muslim Imams, Jewish Rabbis and Protestant ministers wanted to take part in WYD under the banner of "ecumenism" and "dialogue," I'm sure the red carpet would be rolled out by the same bishop's conferences. …More
