Francis Church: Cooks? This “Tradition” Is Still Welcome
The infirmary of the secularised Jesuits in Loyola, Spain, organised a tamborrada (drum festival).
According to InfoSJ.es (January 26) the preparation – like making hats, drums, flag, sticks, stickers, and choosing the music – was part of the success.
Wooden planks on the knees served as makeshift drums. Father Paco Monteserín SJ opened the event by placing it in the context of popular – but Covid suspended – tamborradas, drawing a comparison with the Early Church where all believers “lived united and happy and shared their joy and their goods.”
According to Monteserín, “living the traditions of a people” is living the spirit of the Gospel – granted that these “traditions” have no connection to the Roman Liturgy.

It's absolutely pathetic. Satan laughing at these poor, deluded, evil old men.
Such a good point: "...living the spirit of the Gospel – granted that these 'traditions' have no connection to the Roman Liturgy."
They're not social distancing, so they're still "at risk". Fauci Farce. The event is tragic... based patient-involvement therapies for Alzheimer's care.
Another story that will get the lapsed “catholic” to say, “Look at those old priests! They’re great!,” but will never get them to even consider worshiping their Creator. “Par for the course,” lo these past 6 decades.
