Viganò: Quash Vatican II Because It Was Intended To Bring About Evil

The Vatican II documents are "ambiguous," "in discontinuity" with the Church's teaching, and were "conceived for their subversive effect," Archbishop Viganò observes in a June 15 letter published on ChiesaEPostconcilio.BlogSpot.com.
He therefore proposes “to drop the whole thing and to forget about it.” This goes a step further than Bishop Schneider who only wants to condemn Vatican II propositions which are heretical or favour heresy.
However, such a condemnation of individual propositions would not remove “the shadows" which surround the Pastoral Council and which "prejudice the entire corpus of its documents," Viganò argues.
Therefore, he hopes for a pope who will “quash the entire Council.” A pope has the power to do so, because he is above a council, Viganò explains.

Archbishop Vigano is not a Cardinal ergo has little or no chance of being elected. Wishful thinking won't make it so.

For the Pope, any baptized man can be elected. Then sacred orders are given if necessary. He doesn''t have to be a cardinal. Although the cardinals choose him.
I believe that only an intervention from God can fix this situation. Perhaps through a Catholic Pope.

@forward> I know that. Read my comment again. Do you see the word impossible?

Alex A If you had knowledge which foward has published for you then why did you doubt his election upon condition of lacking appointment to the Cardinalate?

Have you enquired to whether he would even consider such a proposal? Okay, okay, for those that must go down the road of high improbability, What percentage of the current crop of Cardinals do think would vote for Ret. Archbishop Vigano??? Keep your estimation real. And give 'Run away' Pope Benedict a break. The poor man looks like he is not long for this world. As I stated before, wishful thinking …More

Alex A abp Vigano actions speak louder than words. If you read my comment below then you'll find an identical conclusion without taking the trouble to argue the obvious that he [..."has low probability to be supported by any present majority of cardinal electors"] As for present pope Benedict XVI please rely on more professional sources of information as for the reasons and role he is acting.

'Splitting hairs' Rafal, won't change the basic realities that a} Benedict 'walked away' from the job-why would any prelate Cardinal or otherwise, want him back in any position? b} Archbishop Vigano has given no indication that he has the strength to take on such a role as being Pope. -He's in hiding, isn't he? Snipping from the peripheries is hardly the picture of a prelate willing to die for the faith, is it? [I follow everything thing he has to say and I have no argument with his analyses]-c}Looking for 'has been's', 'would be's', 'wanna be's, or 'never will be's', is wishful thinking. From my perspective, only Heaven has the answer, so going down the 'rabbit hole' of Canon Law will end up where? Right back to where we are at this point in time. So let us keep it real, pray, yes! But be patient for Heavens answer, for the problem[s] are way too big and many for our puny minds.

A potential powerful Catholic pope in the person of Vigano has low probability to be supported by any present majority of cardinal electors. Only a small Church with pope Benedict XVI could form and after Pope is deceased the minority of Catholic Churchmen could elect , ie. Abp Vigano, if Francis doesn't recognize true pope. Following, imperfect council or the pope depending upon chronology of being may abrogate Francis' pontificate and potential 'Pope Vigano' could solve Vatican II Council issue by its facile condemnation or more complicated corrections.
Could Francis be like the Medieval Antipope Anacletus who was Sanctioned by the Majority of Cardinals?

Archbishop Vigano is better off where he is. He is an informative rallying point for the faithful, being free from the restraints of high office and answerable to God alone.
Rafał_Ovile
Alex A in the present CC crisis such position as Abp Vigano has achieved being accountable to God would make possible potential powerful pope from the man free of any reliance on apostate wolves occupying and destroying Mother Church.

May God bless Vigano.
