It was “anchored by an interfaith prayer” and included a Bumi Bajra performance featuring a Barong from Ubud Palace and what they called “sacred rhythms.” Barong is a lion-like ceremonial representation of a supernatural protector in Balinese Hindu tradition, closely associated with Balinese religious and ritual life.
