How did St. Agnes inspire one of the Church’s oldest traditions?

Every year on January 21, a quiet but striking scene unfolds in Rome. Two small lambs are brought to a church, blessed, and entrusted to religious sisters for careful tending. Months later, their wool will be woven into one of the most meaningful symbols of episcopal authority in the Church.
All of this happens because of a young martyr named Agnes.
St. Agnes lived in Rome in the early fourth century and was martyred at about twelve or thirteen years old. Her crime was simple and absolute: she belonged to Christ alone. When pressured to renounce her faith and marry, she refused. Her steadfast purity and courage led to her execution, and she quickly became one of the most beloved martyrs of the early Church.
Her name itself tells part of the story. Agnes comes from the Latin agnus, meaning lamb. From the earliest centuries, Christians associated her with the image of a lamb, a symbol of innocence, sacrifice, and Christ Himself. Art often depicts her holding a lamb, not as sentimentality …

Leo has restored this custom after modernist Francis abandoned it due to his belief that it was "silly and out-of-touch" with modernity and the "poor church for the poor."

thanks for share it!! my great online friend, brother @Jeffrey Ade yes!! The great martyr Saint Agnes gave her life for the true truth and the right teachings, dedicating herself completely to our Lord Jesus Christ.... And since all the martyrs did the same, I think it is most important for all of us to follow in their footsteps.... Especially since there are so many cases of people worshiping certain individuals as heroes and saviors, and having absurd fantasies, even among so many orthodox Catholics and Christians, I think it is even more important to look into the footsteps of all the martyr Saints, including Saint Agnes....From what I've heard, the possibility of war with Iran and Cuba seems high, but even if that happens, I think the chances of a positive outcome for the US and the West are very slim... Even if the so-called current regimes in Iran and Cuba are overthrown, I've heard that it's very difficult for pro-US, pro-Western regimes to emerge, and in the end, I think it's …More

Why Is the Salve Regina Sung after Communion?

Hello,
I came across your website, specifically the Article "
Salve Regina - Hail Holy Queen Explanation and interpretation" by Fr. Stephen Somerville," and I was hoping to get some clarification regarding the use of Salve Regina as a post-Communion hymn.
It’s seems that, traditionally, the Salve Regina is sung pre or post Mass. The parish I’m at now has inserted the Salve Regina in the Mass just following the Communion hymn. I find it distracting and strange to sing the Salve Regina, a song directed to Mary, right after I’ve come in full Communion with the Lord through his most sacred body and blood.
If a Marian hymn were to be used at all during this time of worship, wouldn’t the Magnificat, direct to our Lord, be much more appropriate?
I would love to hear your thoughts, and appreciate any direction you can provide regarding this situation.
Thank you! Respectfully,
J.B.

Sadly I must say that all of the "good guys" I so admired (and breaks my heart), such as Tucker, Bannon and any big influencer, are ALL in on all this daily theater by not calling out the truth. They just give us boogie- men to chase.
They are complicit by omission.
Riddle yourself this, has just1 big influencer ever said C Kirk is alive, just 1???

What we can learn from bad reactions to the 'sede' Sisters of St Thomas Aquinas online

The point here is not documenting a meaningless Twitter drama, but drawing out the interesting questions and principles behind it.
(WM Round-Up) – For several months, X has seen a few viral videos of white-habited Sisters singing Gregorian chant in a high gothic church.
These videos garner much admiration, for the beauty of the singing and the architecture, and appreciation for a young religious order of Sisters.
The current controversy
But admiration is not the only response, for this is not just any religious order. The Sisters of St Thomas Aquinas, Florida, are what others call “sedevacantists.”
They hold that:
“… the members of the Novus Ordo hierarchy, despite any and all appearances of authority, are not true Catholic popes nor true Catholic bishops, and do not possess the authority to rule, for they are the authors of …

Strange that with respect to anything traditional Catholic post-conciliar hypocrites lose their usual manners and forget about "imperfect communion" or brothers/sisters in less than full unity.
Logically, assuming hypothetically as truth revolutionary premises of post-conciliarists these sisters should be placed in a higher degree of communion with them than pastors and "orthodox" clergy they meet and flatter in their dialogue, and do not dare to call those pastors and clergy "schismatics".

Because the Church is in free fall, chaos and confusion I believe these nuns are doing the best they can. They are not theologians, but are praying and not rioting, and it appears their congregation is growing.

Blessed Elena Aiello - MESSAGES for our TIMES

Blessed Elena Aiello (1895-1961) -Mystic, Stigmatic, Victim Soul, Prophet & Foundress of the Minim Tertiaries of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ
Blessed Sister Elena Aiello would experience terrible sufferings through her life especially on GOOD FRIDAY. On one such Good Friday, APRIL 16, 1954, Sister Aiello stated she received the following concerning message for the world: Then the Madonna appeared to me. She was dressed in black, with seven swords piercing Her Immaculate Heart. Coming closer, with an expression of profound sorrow, and with tears on her cheeks, she spoke to me, saying: ‘Listen attentively, and reveal to all:
‘My Heart is sad for so many sufferings in an impending world in ruin. The justice of Our Father is most offended. Men live in their obstinacy of sin. The wrath of God is near. Soon the world will be afflicted with great calamities, bloody revolutions, frightful hurricanes, and the overflowing of streams and the seas’.

Instaurare Omnia in Christo

Well, you could have fooled me.
I know why. I know the prophecies and messages. GOD wants the world to love His Mother and recognize her as His Mother and so her Immaculate heart will triumph and both hearts be loved and adored. An I hope they will show her thanks for what she did for us and GOD.
But Russia needs first to destroy all the evil first from this world. GOD choose her to destroy evil and to help his Mother be loved and adored by the conversion of Russia. Two beautiful things I hope to see.
It's the prot's and jews who hate her and hurt her every day. There is no talking to the prot's. I tried for years on yt and finally had to leave because I literally got too upset, sick and had headache's with their filthy mouths. They can be very vicious against The Blessed Mother and Catholics.

V.R.S.

I do not insist Russia is evil. I insist Russia must convert which was one of major themes of the Fatima message.
