I don't know about anyone else....maybe it's because I'm a High school teacher in public school and there's no escape from this subject there either...in fact it's worse there......but I'm tired, EVERY DAY hearing about Gays, Lesbians, TRANS, Non-Binary freaks, Gender ideology, TRANS sports, etc.etc.etc.
I wish the mind-set of our country, and the world, was the way it was back in the 1950's. There was no thought of homos then. It was illegal, even in the USA, and no one even dared mention the subject it was such a scandal. There was no talk of TRANs or Gender ideology......boys were boys and girls were girls, period. People were happy what God made them, or tried to be.
On Monday, Aug. 28th, I start my 4th year as a teacher....something I always wanted to be. I still love it, but already we've had teachers seminars/confrences for the upcoming year, and the dominant theme was not course preparation, or holiday schedules but instead having to sit thru 1 whole day of Gender ideology seminars about TRANS and non-binary students, and gays. I was bored to death.
With regards to all that, I'll do the bare minimum expected/required by the administration....but I'm not decorating my classroom (which is the first good classroom I've gotten since I've been here......my first one was like a closet....and after that, on the first floor next to the gym....and the parking lot so sometimes I had to yell to teach my class..either noise from cars or cheering from the gym during afternoon basketball games.
I know there alot of teachers on campus...mostly guys, who think like me. They're sick of hearing about gays and trans. But there is a core of women teachers who are super-enthusiastic about Gender indoctrination, and have affirming pro-homo lifestyle posters in their classrooms. Freaks!!
Take heart; the prayers of many on this website, I am sure, are with you. Recently an exorcist being interviewed mentioned how quickly a demon, no matter how initially overwhelming, became boring very quickly, so much has their former grandeur as angels atrophied. Likewise as your ennui in these mind-numbing seminars, I believe. Evil is ultimately banal. Stay the course; share the truth of your subject area. Truth and God cannot be separated; it is innate with Him.
