Six years in the custody of strangers. These parents have lost most of their children's childhood, morally, spiritually, politically, emotionally. Germany and German law at its finest. Stuff like this really makes me wonder if the Morgenthau Plan was such a bad idea.

Then again, it was the eighties and nineties and, in comparison with today, the rhetoric - while coming - wasn't at the fever pitch it currently is both in the schools - public or "private" - or in the society generally.
