US Bishops Take Down Scandalously Bad Article by Bishop: "God is Diversity and Inclusion"

The U.S. bishops’ conference removed on Friday a scandalously bad article on diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. A spokesperson of the bishops' conference told the Substack.com-account PillarCatholic.com that the article had been posted "by mistake".

Entitled 'DEI means God', the text was written by Auxiliary Bishop Roy Campbell, 77, of Washington, and published on on Usccb.org earlier in September.

According to the spokesperson, the article is "a draft of a personal reflection from Bishop Campbell that is yet to be discussed and given a definitive publication plan".

In his article, the bishop lamented that the US presidential administration "wants to erase Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the American conscience,” and is “working to separate us from one another, not just migrants, but many, especially people of color, who have been denied for far too long, equal opportunities in education, social recognition, and economic growth, truly denying the DIGNITY OF EVERY HUMAN BEING!"

Monsignor Campbell noted that the initials for diversity, equity, and inclusion programs form the letters DEI, which make "Dei," the genitive of the Latin word "Deus" for God.

In that sense, the bishop wrote, "God is Diversity," "God is Equity," and "God is Inclusion."

However, this is merely a coincidence of letters, and the abbreviation for 'Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion' is, of course, pronounced 'D-E-I', while the Latin 'Dei' sounds 'day-ee'. D-E-I is an affront to God and to justice.

More of Leo's "change attitudes, change the faith"? 🤔 🤫

Time to get the shepherd's crook and haul all of the impostors out of the sanctuary.

Synodality is an agenda and this is core, ravaging wolves.

Ahh, another wise saying from an apostate Newchurch bishop. It never stops

The Internet is forever, Your Excellencies.

D-E-I needs to D-I-E.
