On 25 August, Bishop Earl Fernandes, 52, of the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio, gave a lengthy biographical interview to CatholicWorldReport.com.
His Indian father, a physician, taught his five sons religion using the Baltimore Catechism.
Bishop Fernandes was also trained as an exorcist: "People are interested in the sensational side of exorcisms, so I don't like to draw attention to my work in this ministry. I can say that I saw some things that I wouldn’t want to see again."

"Sedevacant": I imagine that with this argument, Lucifer obtained blind obedience to drag the apostate angels with him to rebel against God. Surely, those apostate angels, to mock Saint Michael the Archangel, who was of lower rank, would call him "sedevacant" for not joining their leader in his rebellion against God, but instead leading the Heavenly Army in battle against their traitorous Chief in defense of God's rights and supremacy.
