Cardinal Burke: "Catholics of Roman Rite are Persecuted in the Church"

The Sacred Liturgy is not the invention of the Church but its greatest treasure received from the hand of God, Cardinal Raymond Burke said at the Faith and Culture Conference of the Latin Mass Society in London today: “The Eucharistic sacrifice comes to us from an unbroken transmission from the Lord, from his offering at the Last Supper.”
The Cardinal hopes that Leo XIV will address the serious issues contained in Traditionis custodes at the earliest possible time:
“It is my hope that Leo XIV will put an end to the present persecution to the faithful in the Church who desire to worship God according to the more ancient usage of the Roman Rite. There is persecution from within the Church. I already had occasion to express that to the Holy Father. It is my hope that he will restore the situation as it was after Summorum Pontificum.”

“It is my hope that Leo XIV will put an end to the present persecution to the faithful...." Naive wishful thinking on the part of Cardinal Burke....he should have nipped this massive problem in the bud by effectively standing up to the outrageous Jorge Mario Bergoglio by investigating His validity/invalidity with an imperfect council. Leo will finish Jorge's destructive gameplan with ease (almost no opposition now). The only ones in the hierarchy with real backbone are Archbishop Vigano and Bishop Rene Henry Gracida. May God Bless them profusely!!!!!

Actually it has been persecuted since it was founded...

Did he mention that this problem has been in the Church since the papacy of "Saint" Paul VI?

Right, accepting Burke's own premises, is he implying that "Saints" Paul VI and JP II were guilty of perpetrating the persecution of the faithful as well? Then what does that imply about the post-Vatican II church?
