Berlin’s Old-Rite church St Philip Neri lost their court case.
They had asked to be allowed to celebrate Masses with up to 50 faithful (April 7). At least nine similar cases had already been dismissed before in Germany.
According to the court it is constitutional to abolish the freedom of religion “temporary” when it conflicts with other fundamental rights such as the maintenance of the public health system.
Gloria.tv has learned that the decision will be appealed.
