The so-called "Bündnis für Demokratie & Zivilcourage Speyer" (Speyer Alliance for Democracy & Civil Courage) organised a counter-demonstration to a rally of the German opposition party AfD in Speyer on 19 November.
The alliance is supported, among others, by left-wing fascists ("anti-fascists") "Antifa", Protestant groups and Bishop Karl-Heinz Wieseman of Speyer, reports Idea.de.
Antifa is known for violence against Christian pro-lifers.
