Bishop Urges Catholics Not To Attend Mass at FSSPX Carmelite Nuns

Bishop Michael Olson of Fort Worth, Texas, "must plead" with the faithful to not participate in any sacraments at the Carmelite nuns in Arlington who have announced an affiliation with the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X, he wrote in a September 17 letter to his diocese.

For Bishop Olson, it is also important that the nuns receive "no financial support." He considers the recent re-election of the nuns' superior, Mother Teresa Agnes, invalid.

Further, he laments a "path of disobedience" and "disunity with the Church".

More whining: "Their rejection of their legitimate superiors - Mother Marie of the Incarnation [appointed by the Vatican on paper] and me as their diocesan bishop - is scandalous and is permeated with the odour of schism."

One thing that worries me a little is whether we're all going to need to go to confession for detracting from Bishop Olson's reputation. I realize that it could be argued that we haven't.

Perhaps its time for the laity to 'urge' said bishop to focus upon those creating the ludicrous heretical messages being sent from the Vatican which has creating this impasse. 'The collection box is mightier than the sword.'

Two different groups are apparently being confused--There's the FSSP and the SSPX. This is the SSPX.

The long name for the SSPX IS the FSSPX, aka the Fraternal Society of St. Pius X. There is nothing being confused. The FSSP is the Fraternal Society of Saint Peter. Many of the priests of the FSSP were members of the FSSPX before they took the soup.

Perhaps the good Bishop should be a tad bit more concerned about the foul “odor” of faggotry “permeating” his Seminary that Pope Francis was complaining about. That would, most likely, be a much better place to start a thorough cleansing and fumigation….right?

For sure, avoid the true Catholic Mass at all costs but attend the Novus Ordo and become a protestant. Makes sense to me.

The Papal positivists- Ultramontanists didn't like my comment. A Pope or bishop's authority is not without limits. If they command or order something that spiritually harms souls, then Catholics are obliged to disobey them.
