Um, yeah.
At the Norwich Catholic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, they have a picture and expansion of the tradesmen who built the cathedral. The picture shows what those tradesmen wore in the late 1800s on the "job site". A godfather of one of my kids shows the picture to his, and other kids, to prove just this point. Back then masons, blacksmiths, stained glass workers all wore a suit to work. Now, we're lucky not to see a boy's/man's shoulder tattoo, and even luckier if we go through the day without seeing yoga pants.

As sad as this is, knowing history of the region I'm not surprised.

Smith noted that not only are Catholics now the victims of more hate crime than all other religious groups in Scotland combined, but that this is also an increasing trend (a 14 per cent increase in one year).
Smith continued, calling on the SNP Government to “go out to the Catholic population and listen to their concerns”, adding that while Islamophobia and anti-Semitism have prominent places in public debate the same cannot be said of anti-Catholicism.

Catholics are biggest victims of hate crime in Scotland – CatholicHerald.co.uk

There are concerns over an increasing trend of anti-Catholicism in the country
A Labour Member of the Scottish Parliament has called on Holyrood to recognise the growing problem of anti-Catholicism in Scotland. It follows a government report which suggests that Catholics are the victims of 57 per cent of all religiously aggravated offences reported in the country.
Elaine Smith MSP raised the subject in the Scottish Parliament last week, following an incident in which a church near Glasgow was vandalised and the Blessed Sacrament desecrated.

The Vatican Is Going To Accept Condemned Teilhard de Chardin

The Pontifical Council for Culture unanimously approved a petition to Pope Francis requesting him to waive the condemnation of Jesuit Father Teilhard de Chardin (+1955). The Council is headed by [Modernist] Cardinal Ravasi and has no competence to judge theological works.
Chardin was condemned several times. In 1925 he had to withdraw his denial of original sin. In 1962 the Vatican found that Chardin's works “abound in such ambiguities and indeed even serious errors, as to offend Catholic doctrine”. Chardin's thought is a strange mix between theology and the theory of evolution.
The Council for Culture wants Francis to acknowledge Chardin's effort "to reconcile the scientific vision of the universe with Christian eschatology" although Chardin's achievements are highly disputed in the scientific community.

Heads of Churches in Jerusalem express concern regarding breaches of the Status Quo in the Jaffa Gate case

In July 2017, we, the heads of the Churches in Jerusalem, were compelled to issue a public statement of concern regarding breaches of the Status Quo that governs the Holy Sites and ensures the rights and privileges of the Churches. This Status Quo is universally recognised by both religious authorities and governments, and has always been upheld by the civil authorities of our region.
We now find ourselves united once again in condemning recent further encroachment on the Status Quo. In such matters as this, the Heads of the Churches are resolute and united in our opposition to any action by any authority or group that undermines those laws, agreements, and regulations that have ordered our life for centuries.
There have been further actions that are a clear breach of the Status Quo. The judgement in the “Jaffa Gate” case against the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, which we regard as unjust, as well as a proposed bill in the Knesset which is politically motivated that would …More
