What do you mean St. Pius X decided without a serious theological reason to put First Holy Communion before Confirmation? He lowered the age to allow children to be fortified by Holy Communion. Those being given the sacraments of initiation were much different in the latter 1500 years (infants and children) of the Church than in the first 500 (adult converts). Perhaps this is a good development to restore the order of the Sacraments, but let's also respect St. Pius X
