On the First Sunday after Christmas we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. We do so with the Church Fathers. The reflections and quotations come from the book titled, Advent and Christmas with the Church Fathers by Marco Pappalardo. Introduction St. Joseph, a righteous man of faith, knew full well that Christmas was something shocking: it was for him, and it should also be for us. He was not born with a halo and neither were we; however, behind every responsibility and duty, his life guarded something beautiful that he was called to look after. He listened, trusted, and acted. This beauty helped him conquer every fear and doubt, totally abandoning himself to God’s plan. And what about us? We are called to make our families an open and welcoming place for life, a context for self-giving and witnessing, and an environment for sharing and communion. John Chrysostom, Homilies on the Gospel of Matthew, 8, 2ff. Continue to marvel at this miraculous event! …
Exposed Naked Christ in Austrian Church: Rev. Hans-Peter Premur, parish priest of Krumpendorf in the Diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt, Austria, has installed a large baby figure inside his church. The installation is titled “One Child, One Planet, One Chance.” The figure measures approximately 2.5 meters in length, with a head diameter of about 1 meter. It is unclothed and displays visible genitalia. Outside the church entrance, a sign describes the parish as “accepting and open,” accompanied by a rainbow symbol. Some local Catholics have criticized the installation, calling the figure a “monster” and describing the project as an example of “megalomania.” The Bishop of the Diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt is Monsignor Josef Marketz.

Brigitte Bardot, the French screen legend who walked away from the film industry to support animal rights and lead opposition to open borders and mass immigration, has died. She was 91. The Guardianreports Paris-born Bardot shot to international fame with the 1956 film And God Created Woman, written and directed by her then-husband Roger Vadim. For the next two decades she embodied the idea of the archetypal “sex kitten.” Her work on screen was not to last. The Guardian notes in the early 70s she announced her retirement from acting and became increasingly active politically. Bardot’s outspoken support of animal rights evolved into comments about ethnic minorities and open support for France’s Front National, resulting in a string of convictions for racial hatred. Acknowledged as a symbol of woman’s liberation, Bardot told Le Figaro in 20915 she was against the Muslim face veil. “Communitarianism takes on too much importance. It is the culmination of thirty years of laxity.” A …

12/27/2025 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. In my last article, I reported on the ongoing lawsuit in the Netherlands against leading activists of the Great Reset movement and the Dutch state. One of the experts named by the plaintiffs’ lawyers is Sasha Latypova. Originally from Ukraine, she has lived in the US since the 1990s. She was the Director of Research and Development for pharmaceuticals and medical devices at VirtualScopics (now BioTelemetry). Yesterday, she published an article on sashalatypova.substack.com titled: Covid Shots are Indistinguishable From Bio-Chemical Weapons. The article is so long because it includes her full written testimony before a Dutch court. Based on my review of primary regulatory documents, leaked Pfizer’s Chemistry‑Manufacturing‑Control (CMC) files, relevant legislation in the U.S. and EU, and other publicly available documentation, it is my expert opinion that the Covid‑19 mRNA injections were deployed under military ‘medical‑countermeasure’ rules …

Pope Benedict XVI performed the rite of consecration at the Sagrada Familia, Spain Today is theFourth Day within the Octave of Christmas.TheFeast of the Holy Familyis a movable feast, assigned to the Sunday within the Octave of Christmas. Scripture tells us practically nothing about the first years and the boyhood of the Child Jesus. All we know are the facts of the sojourn in Egypt, the return to Nazareth, and the incidents that occurred when the twelve-year-old boy accompanied his parents to Jerusalem. In her liturgy the Church hurries over this period of Christ's life with equal brevity. The general breakdown of the family, however, at the end of the past century and at the beginning of our own, prompted the popes, especially the far-sighted Leo XIII, to promote the observance of this feast with the hope that it might instill into Christian families something of the faithful love and the devoted attachment that characterize the family of Nazareth. The primary purpose of the Church …More

Duccio di Buoninsegna (1299–1319), The Nativity, 1308 (source) As we prepare to celebrate the most important event in the history of humankind, I believe that nothing is more fitting than a reflection on the meaning of some of the most moving icons in the history of Christian sacred art. The painting by Duccio di Buoninsegna (1299–1319), The Nativity with the Prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel (1308), is a true visual synthesis of this venerable iconographic tradition, well represented both in the Byzantine tradition and in that of the Western Middle Ages. I look forward to your comments. Merry Christmas to all of you! No event in the history of humankind can be understood without a careful reflection on the consequences of that deed which took place at the very beginnings of history: original sin and the fall of our first parents, Adam and Eve. As a result of that unfortunate event, all authentic prophecies—first and foremost those found in the sacred texts of the Old Testament, and later …
