This evening, Pope Leo XIV left Castel Gandolfo slightly later than usual. He came out and went toward the faithful, offering nothing to the journalists who were ready with their usual provocative and senseless questions. And, of course — true to form — they are now rushing to criticize him.

Cardinal Burke warns fake videos of him supposedly making “words of opposition” to Pope Leo are spreading. “The deliberate use of falsehood to sow division within the Church is gravely sinful,” Cardinal Burke says. He adds: "I therefore declare publicly and unequivocally my obedience, filial love, and unwavering respect for the Supreme Pontiff, Pope Leo XIV, the Vicar of Christ on earth. The unity of the Church around the Successor of Saint Peter is willed by Our Lord Himself and is essential to the integrity of our Catholic faith. I urge all the faithful to give attentive heed to the authentic teaching of the Holy Father, and not to the voices of division which distort the truth for worldly purposes and sow the seeds of scandal among souls."
Senior U.S. Cardinal issues strong condemnation after reports of his likeness in AI videos, “correcting” Pope Leo XIV: “These falsified productions bear the unmistakable mark of the Evil One, who ever seeks to confuse the faithful and to set brother against brother within the Mystical Body of Christ.”
Das ist völlig richtig. Vigano ist im Ungehorsam und Ausgeschlossen. Jetzt hetzt er weiter. Umstände hin oder her. Polemik hier und dort. Die einzige gute Frucht, die er hervorbringt ist der Ungehorsam und das Aufbäumen gegen die Hirarchie. Jesus hat uns in der Endzeitrede vor solchen "Propheten" gewarnt.
Something is seriously awry in the process for the selection of bishops. How about “holding to the truth” to “hand on the Catholic and apostolic faith” (Roman Canon) specified as a non-negotiable basic qualification?
Pope Leo XIV on October 20 appointed Monsignor Mark O’Connell as Bishop of Albany, New York, and accepted the resignation of Bishop Edward Scharfenberger. Born in 1964, in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, Bishop O’Connell was ordained for Boston in 1990 and holds a Doctorate in Canon Law. He has served in parish, seminary, and diocesan tribunal roles. Francis appointed him auxiliary bishop of Boston in June 2016. Holy Communion to Pro-Abortion Politicians In July 2021, Bishop O’Connell voted against a U.S. bishops’ motion to draft a document linking reception of Holy Communion to public adherence to Church teaching. He said the proposal could be seen as a call to deny Communion to pro-abortion politicians, stating, “It is not up to me to deny anyone Holy Communion.” Speaking to CatholicNewsAgency.com, Bishop O’Connell added that the discussion focused “too heavily on abortion”. He suggested there were “more appropriate ways” to address then-President Biden. However, he did not elaborate …More
If the Vatican Library can allow a Muslim prayer room, I think Catholics who love the old rite should be entitled to celebrate that rite in their parish?
EWTN journalist Raymond Arroyo spoke in his World Over show on October 16 about the traditional Latin Mass in the USA. His main questions and comments. - US bishops are announcing bans on the traditional Latin Mass in an attempt to comply with the late Pope Francis’ document, 'Traditionis Custodes'. - It seems like an unjust document. - The drive to implement Pope Francis’ directive continues. Eleven US dioceses have so far embraced this. - You would have thought with the new Pope we might have seen a cessation of this. - A brand new Latin Mass ban was announced for the Diocese of Knoxville in Tennessee. Priests there announced that they, along with their bishop, Mark Beckman, will begin to transition to the Novus Ordo in late December. - It bears noting that the mandate of Cardinal Roche, who is the head of the Congregation for Liturgy, was just renewed by Leo XIV. It was Cardinal Roche's office, at least in the case of the Diocese of Knoxville, that reached out to the bishop: “Hey, …More
The most notable growth in Catholics is in Africa, with an increase of 8,309,000; and the Americas with 5,668,000; followed by Asia with 954,000; Europe with 740,000; and Oceania with 210,000.
For a while now, I've doubted all these statistics that show the world population increasing while at the same time in the majority of nations there has been a severe drop in birth rates to the point that many are in demographic free fall - even China that used to be the most populated country with over a billion and enforced a draconian 'one-child' policy with forced abortion. So where are all these people? Or is it a ruse to brainwash us to believe in the "population bomb' that will destroy the world like was shown in sci-fi movies of the 70s such as Soylent Green?
Many lay Catholics assume clergy are heterosexual and faithful; this assumption can hide misconduct. The author says he later realized two fellow priests were gay and abusing altar boys at his first parish. He cites Rev. Dr. Paul Sullins as claiming priestly homosexuality correlates strongly with male victims of abuse and that abuse has declined less than believed and may be rising again. The author argues a large share of U.S. bishops/priests are homosexual and that this shapes their teaching, governance, and parish life. He claims some closeted gay men choose Catholic priesthood (and certain countries’ seminaries) to avoid scrutiny faced in other denominations. He references a 2012 study reporting ~27% heterosexual, ~67% homosexual, and ~6% bisexual among “actively ministering or retired” U.S. priests, and asserts the heterosexual share is now even lower. He alleges many seminarians leave after encountering active homosexual subcultures in seminaries. He proposes “indicators” (his …More
Rev Josef Grünwidl, 62, is the next Archbishop of Vienna, multiple Austrian outlets report today. He is expected to be officially announced by Pope Leo XIV within the next few days. He was a member of the notorious 'Priests' Initiative' that luanched in 2011 a "Call to Disobedience" to Church laws. Pictured is Grünwidl at an outdoor school Eucharist in 2023. Early life and ministry Josef Grünwidl was born on 31 January 1963 in Hollabrunn, Lower Austria. Originally dreaming of becoming a musician, he studied organ before discerning a vocation to the priesthood. He was ordained a priest on 29 June 1988 in St Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna, by Cardinal Franz König. From 1995 to 1998, he served as personal secretary to Archbishop Christoph Schönborn. The 'Invasion of Doves' For Pentecost in 2019, Rev Grünwidl created an installation in the parish church of Perchtoldsdorf that resembled something a child might create. He filled the large Gothic church with over a thousand white paper doves …More
Let us speak plainly: when men are appointed to power who reject the moral law, who mock the Sacred Liturgy, who scorn the faithful who kneel before the Eucharistic Lord – this is not renewal, it is revolt against Christ Himself.

Russian MFA spokesperson Zakharova says Moscow to host forum "with experts" on fake news, "Western media mainstream is actively using these fakes to carry out disinformation campaigns aimed at our country, in particular, Europe is whipping up a drone hysteria."
Words of Pope Leo XIV today, said in the context of migration: "There is a certain tendency, these days, to undervalue, at various levels, the models and values that have developed over the centuries and that shape our cultural identity, sometimes even attempting to erase their historical and human relevance. Let us not disdain what our ancestors experienced and what they passed on to us, even at the cost of great sacrifices. Let us not be seduced by homogenising and fluid models which offer only an appearance of freedom, but in fact make people dependent on forms of control such as passing fashions, commercial strategies, or other influences (cf. Card. Joseph Ratzinger, Homily at the Mass for the Election of the Roman Pontiff, 18 April 2005). To cherish the memory of those who came before us and to treasure the traditions that have made us who we are is important for facing the present and the future with awareness, serenity, responsibility, and a sense of perspective."

Bishop James Mark Beckman, 62, of Knoxville, Tennessee, has announced that all diocesan-approved Masses in the Roman rite will end by the end of this year. He refers to this as a 'transition' from using the 1962 Missal to the Novus Ordo. Bishop Beckman was installed in July 2024. The Knoxville diocese has around 70,000 Catholics and covers an area of 40,000 km². The decision was made in collaboration with all the priests of the parishes in which the Roman rite is currently celebrated. On 12 October, Rev David Carter revealed in a homily that Bishop Beckman had received a request from the Congregation for Divine Worship, headed by Cardinal Roche, to implement Traditionis Custodes. The priest defended his bishop, as he himself is a man under authority, like a centurion in the Roman army. Gaslighting: "He loves the faithful who are devoted to the ancient liturgy and bears no ill will towards you." Picture: James Mark Beckman, #newsDjgywzglda
The disgusting act was certainly a deliberate provocation, but it wasn't really a desecration. What WAS a desecration was the Pachamama Mass, and everyone Inside is still pretending that didn't happen.
Plus the "gay pilgrimage" FtR (blank the rules) fiasco was just as nefarious as the Pachamama 'worship.' Interesting the Vatican is ONLY focusing on the demonic acting out of individuals and NOT the officially organized events that scandalized the faithful the world over! One can make a very good case the latter led to the former.
