Ob im Einzelfall ein Priester tatsächlich fortfahren soll, die "alte Liturgie" zu feiern, wenn dieser der Bischof ausdrücklich verbietet, könnte Inhalt eines "dubium" sein! Befürworter würden argumentieren wie WB Schneider; für die Gegenposition steht das Beispiel von Heiligen wie P. Pio, der fraglos gehorcht hat, auch als ihm ungerechterweise die Zelebration der (öffentlichen) heiligen Messe für eine Zeit untersagt war.
