Cardinal Marx: New Church Already In the Making

The Church of the future is a "global, synodal Church" that is already "in the making", writes Cardinal Reinhard Marx of Munich in the May issue of the German magazine 'Herder-Korrespondenz'.

An obstacle on this path would be "a misunderstood sacralisation of structures and institutions [= as expressed in divine revelation], which declare themselves to be unchangeable and refer in an almost undisguised and direct way to the will of God himself", Marx warns.

Which such statements, the church functionary is reinventing Protestantism, which is collapsing in Western Europe before everyone's eyes, and presents it as an example.

Actually, rather than already in the making, he said already in the eating

This future "church" he speaks of is many things, but it certainly is not Catholic. The counterfeit is here.

At least he is honest. He speaks what Bergoglio thinks. One world religion in the making. The false prophet is making way for the Antichrist
Dr Bobus
Candid rather than honest.

there is only one true catholic church ,the one given to us by Jesus ,Catholics reject any modern doctrine ,that is not from God

Cardinal Marx making a Cardinal error by listening podcast of Carl Marx?

The structure of the Church was put in place by the Second Person of the Holy Trinity during His ministry on Earth. Perhaps his Eminence needs to take the matter up with Him?

During the papacy of JPII only the American bishops were personally approved by the Pope. Ratzinger was trying to get Sodano, Re, and others to do something about the German situation. He was accused of exaggerating the depth of the problem.
BXVI wanted to make Mueller the archbishop of Cologne. The German bishops said no.

@Dr Bobus Given what you have always known about Sodano and Re (you seem pretty plugged in), would you have expected either of them to "do" any thing about the "German situation"? I would doubt it. SO: if you would know enough not to expect anything from either of them, why would you surmise that Ratzinger would seriously think they would?

B16 had the power that Fellay recognized but he just didn't have the courage to use it. What was he afraid of? If any of the bishop-modernists bucked the line, he also could have just excommunicated them.

Ratzinger promulgated) Summorum Pontificum, against the objection of many Euro Cardinals. A similar document was produced in the mid 80s by a commission of Cardinals appointed by JPII. Euro Cardinals objected, and JPII backed down.

When BXVI was elected, I hoped he would make Ruini his Sec of State, who was exactly what BXVI needed. R was smart and knew how to get things done, but I think he wanted to retire. Bertone got the job and proved to be an example of the Peter Principle.

Btw, Cañizares Llovera was brought in to start the liturgical renewal. Below you'll see a list of his accomplishments.

So, it was not for a lack of courage but for not having the right men in the right places to carry out the orders and hold the line against the detractors.
Dr Bobus
Ratzinger was the first Vatican Cardinal, and maybe of all Cardinals, to say publicly that the VatII documents have flaws and didn't float down from heaven. And during his first visit to Germany an assembly of French and German bishops told him they didn't want any liberalization of the TLM (Roman Rite) or any regularization of the SSPX. He proceeded anyway.

Thank you Karol Wojtyla and Joseph Ratzinger for the heretical mitered miscreant.
Dr Bobus
Maybe there's a Felix Culpa involved. For years Church leaders tried to show that the Novus Ordo isn't linked to distortions and denials of Church doctrine. Now the Bergoglio crowd have demonstrated otherwise.
