James Martin in Mourning: Archbishop, Champion of Decadence, Dead

Milwaukee Archdiocese announced the death of its former Archbishop Rembert Weakland, 95, on 22 August.

A church musician, consultant at Vatican II, and former Abbot Primate of the Benedictines, he was one of the great stars of modernism, a darling of the oligarch media, and a preacher of decadence. Paul VI appointed him to Milwaukee in 1977.

But shortly before his 75th birthday, it was revealed that in the 1980s he kept a male lover to whom the Milwaukee Archdiocese had paid $450,000 to avoid a lawsuit and cover up a scandal. In 2002 Weakland retired.

In 2009, it was revealed that he had shredded reports about homosexual abusers in the priesthood, and he admitted that he had continued to appoint them without warning anyone.

Weakland apologised in his autobiography by saying that he did not understand that homosexual abuse was a crime [because the oligarch media cheered paedophilia at the time].

Weakland was less generous towards the faithful of the Latin Mass. He treated them like lepers. In 1985, he even forced every worshipper to show a paper at the entrance of the chapel to be admitted to Mass (below).

After his death, homosexualist James Martin SJ called Weakland on Twitter.com a "friend" and said he mourned his loss.

Father Martin Apologizes for ‘Not Being Clearer’ About Archbishop Weakland’s ‘Sins and Crimes’| National Catholic Register It is curious that the apostate James Martin remembers that Jesus surrounded himself with sinners and tax collectors but to manipulate Scripture and use the passage as an excuse for his apostasy, because he did not clarify that precisely all those former sinners repented and forsook sin, but James does not remember the Words of Jesus for unrepentant sinners: Then the king will say to those on his left, "Get away from me! You are under God's curse. Go into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels!

A priest posted this: "In 1966, Pope Paul VI wrote 'Sacrificium Laudis', telling male religious who sing the office in choir to use Latin chant. When all the Benedictine abbots of the world came to Rome, he asked Rembert Weakland to present this document to them in a meeting. His manner of presenting it was to put a copy of it face-down on each of their chairs, and then talk about something else."

Paul Likoudis's article from 2009 deserves to be recirculated: Archbishop Weakland: I didn’t know clerical abuse of children was a crime | News Headlines

Trusting this guy is another strike against Paul VI.

Remember Weakland's connection to Thomas Merton's weird death? Weakland organized the Bangkok conference at which Merton died supposedly from a floor fan mishap. Weakland waived an autopsy for Merton, leaving his death in mystery.

His letterhead from the mid-80s was so humble; “Rembertus Georgius” in huge letters. He was definitely the sort of old liberal priest who was an expert Latinist who thought that anyone less conversant in Cicero than he was was a moron for wanting to pray in Latin.

I will give children to be their princes, and the effeminate shall rule over them - Isaiah Chapter 3

306

For behold the sovereign Lord of hosts shall take away from Jerusalem, and from Juda the valiant and the strong, the whole strength of bread, and the whole strength of water. The strong man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet and the cunning man, and the ancient. The captain over fifty, and the honourable in countenance, and the counsellor, and the architect, and the skilful in eloquent speech. And I will give children to be their princes, and the effeminate shall rule over them. And the people shall rush one upon another, and every man against his neighbour: the child shall make a tumult against the ancient, and the base against the honourable. - Isaiah Chapter 3

This is so shocking! Let's get together and say a prayer for his soul! (Our Dear Jesus prayed for His tormentors!)

Please pray for his soul, Christ died for him too!

(Found on Twitter) "Judas Iscariot has died. A fiscally prudent disciple and one of the original Twelve Apostles, his legacy was marred by revelations that he was paid money to betray Our Savior. I considered him a friend and mourn his loss. May he rest in peace."

Another example, Darth Vader has died. An erudite scholar, gifted mentor and Jedi Knight, his legacy was marred by revelations that his behavior contributed to climate change on the planet Alderaan. I considered him a friend and mourn his loss. May he rest in peace.

Why do we care what James Martin says?

John Fritz Logan

I know that following James Martin leads to Hell. False prophets tend to be predictable. They repeat old heresies.
If we continue to follow the Catholic faith, the infallible magisterium, his noise doesn't matter.
And heretics are looking for someone like him anyways. We only need to reach the ignorant in the middle first.
