I don't understand your comment? Are you saying a Catholic priest who may celebrate the Novus Ordo Mass is not to be praised and supported in his working to rid his parish of blatent sins against the sixth commandment?
There was not a single action this priest took that was rigoristic. How he acted was uncommon, however. The scandal is that it had to be the pastor who took action. It should have been mandated by the bishop, with his full and enthusiastic support. The hell that this priest is about to face is the sort of thing that leads to the “moral injury” that Father Z has commented on a few times over these recent years.
Being brazen doesn't make you Catholic. What is the point of having your child in a school which does not teach the 'values' you espouse?! Shame on such parents (although 'shame' is a rather scarce commodity these days.)
