A Palma court, Spain, has ruled that the 6,418-square-metre Santa Isabel Convent with gardens and courtyards, in Palma’s centre belongs to the nuns, not to Mallorca Diocese which had registered the convent as a property in 2014.
Since then, the diocese and the cloistered Hieronymite sisters have been fighting over ownership. The nuns have held Santa Isabel since 28 August 1485 but moved in 2014 to the convent of San Bartolomé de Inca, in the centre of the island.
Thereupon, the diocese asked them to hand over the keys, but they refused. There was even a scuffle in the street with representatives of the bishop when the nuns tried to remove paintings and some objects from the monastery to take them to Inca.
The diocese will lodge an appeal against the sentence.

Just like here in the states, the bishops say I own it and closes it down, like they did with covid 1984!

That is what they need to do. Stand up to these criminals.

All these cloisters of nuns in the world which the VAtican rulings of Pope Francis the Heretic declare as too small or not viable, should rather than bow to Francis the Despot and close, should rebel, take possession of their own house like these nuns did, try to recruite vocations, and basically give toe middle finger to Francis and his VAtican.

There was a Briggitine cloister in Germany, which before VAtican II, had close to 60 nuns. Of course with VAtican II and the worthless Novus Ordo, vocations dried up. Afew years ago, the last nun there tried to rally support and recruit vocations. She achieved a degree of success with 1 postulant, and several others wanting to join. The the asshole Vatican of Pope Francis decreed that the Altotting Brigittine cloister, famous for centuries, was not viable, and orderd it to close. Its happening around the world with cloistered nuns, for which Francis has nothing but contempt.
People should come to the aid of all these convents, recruite new vocations, and defy Francis and his corrupt VAtican.
