The Italian Salesian publisher LDC sued the excellent Catholic LaNuovaBQ.it for its 9 April 2018 article "Gay couple peeps into children's catechism."
The article reported about a controversy regarding images contained in a LDC “children’s catechism,” for instance, the cover on which two men with two children stand out, giving the impression of a homosex couple with “their children."
A judge acquitted the webpage on September 30 stating that the right to criticism had been exercised correctly. Even the Public Prosecutor called for an acquittal.
Reporting about this outcome, LaNuovaBQ.it noticed that it was struck by the hostility and ideological hatred which the top management of the Salesian publishing house displayed against LaNuovaBQ.it from the very beginning.
