Young Europeans Are Going Right-Wing
Those identifying with the right are mostly members of the younger generation, the left-wing Fondation pour l’innovation politique (Fondapol), a French think-tank, found after conducting a survey in Germany, UK, France, and Italy.
41% of those who identify as right-wing are in the age group 18-34 (24%: left-wing). “Right” stands for personal and social security that was championed by the traditional leftwing parties which are now at the service of the oligarchs.
The largest percentage of voters on the right are found in Italy (44%), UK (40%), France (38%), and Germany (36%).
