Francis Has "Bronchitis"

Francis has "bronchitis," the Holy See Press Office announced Thursday afternoon. Despite this, he will continue with his scheduled meetings, but will receive guests and politicians at his Casa Santa Maria hotel on Friday and Saturday.
Francis had already had a member of his staff read his address for the Wednesday general audience. At the time, Francis said he was suffering from a "bad cold."
On Sunday, Francis plans to attend a Eucharist in St. Peter's Square with thousands of soldiers and police officers from around the world. The Vatican has not yet commented on Francis' participation in the outdoor liturgy.
With his mobility declining, Francis suffered two falls in early December and mid-January.
