Four men have been convicted in Paris (March 9) of the elastic clause “terrorist conspiracy” after the 2016 murder of Father Jacques Hamel, 85, near Rouen, France.
The two attackers (Adel Kermich, 19; Abdel Malik Petitjean, 19), were killed by police when leaving the church.
Now, the court sentenced:
• Rachid Kassim, 35, (life in prison in absentia): a famous Algerian/Jemenite/French jihadist likely killed in Mosul in 2017.
• Jean-Philippe Steven Jean-Louis, 25 (13 years): Afro-French friend of Petitjean, born in the fifth month, spent first two years in hospital, asthmatic, placed in a children's home at 12, he never worked, Internet freak, became a Moslem at 17.
• Farid Khelil, 37 (10 years): Petitjean's cousin, said at the trial that he is bisexual, non-religious, drinking alcohol, smoking cannabis.
• Yassine Sebaihia, 27 (8 years), never worked, Internet freak, spent one night with Kermich two days before the murder, left the next day because he felt unwanted.
