By keeping such a document in the parish archives, the Catholic pastor will be able to protect himself from being accused of proselytism, that is, of wickedly inducing someone to change their religion. This restriction does not apply in the event of danger to the child or parents. Baptism must be administered in accordance with the liturgical books of the Catholic Church. In such a case, the Catholic minister, by baptizing the child, does not incorporate it into the Catholic Church, therefore it must be noted in the register of baptisms that the child belongs to another Church that is not in unity with the Catholic Church."
