Paul VI said: “In my view, it is better that a selection be made of Psalms more suitable to Christian prayer, and that the imprecatory and historical Psalms be omitted (though these last may be suitably use in certain circumstances." (Annibale Bugnini, The Reform of the Liturgy (1948-1975), Collegeville: Liturgical Press, 1990, p. 509). Photo and quote from the website The ‘Anti-Liturgical Heresy’ - Dialogue Mass 153 …More
JHW could bring the Church back to Tradition but realizing that Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church when interpreted rationally are traditional. So he does not have to be labelled a Latin Mass traditionalist any more. Vatican Council II is an ally.
@Jeffrey Ade More of a reason for us to double down on Prayers. Having a Mass said for him would be a great way to help him. If we do nothing. GOD Will give us nothing. Want a beer after dinner to relax or enjoy? Give it up. At a barbecue and can't wait for that steak? Take a hot dog instead. Little things add up. St. Theresa of the Little way you have promoted should help you to understand this. We do nothing. We get nothing! Nothing is impossible with GOD. But we must earn it. Maybe it's just me and a few others who have the faith we need in GOD. I don't know. But I will depend on him and keep praying for him and I will have a Mass said for him this Sunday. I don't know about the rest of you. Sitting back and attacking him won't help him nor us.
Nothing. Two years ago, in Poland, schismatic bishops of the Novus Ordo church issued ("pastorally appropriate" because of the mass migration from Ukraine) the following instruction with the heretical view of Baptism which leads, IMHO, by the defect of intention, to invalid Baptisms. "According to can. 868 § 3 CIC and can. 681 § 5 CCEO, "the child of non-Catholic Christians is baptized licitly if the parents or at least one of them, or the one who lawfully takes their place, request it and if, due to physical or moral impossibility, they cannot go to their own minister." A Catholic minister may licitly baptize a child at the request of parents who are not Catholics only if they do not have access to the minister of their Church. They must formulate their request in writing. By keeping such a document in the parish archives, the Catholic pastor will be able to protect himself from being accused of proselytism, that is, of wickedly inducing someone to change their religion. Figures that the married couple are leadership of the World Union of Old Believers (schismatics from the Russian Orthodox church that believe a valid priesthood no longer exists!) In other words another 'gesture' showing Francis' love for a "lay run" ecumenical "church"!
"During the last two years I have heard words about a Masonic Reconquista. It was all about a delegation from the Grand Orients of France and Portugal and from the French Federation of Droit Humain, all irregular bodies, who had managed to meet Mr. José-Manuel Barroso. They were preparing a new fight against the Church" I couldn't find out the date this article first appeared, but I think it was 2013.
"Our examination of the question of a heretical pope has established the following conclusions: If a pope is guilty of the public crime of heresy, he ceases to be pope. This happens because a public heretic is not a member of the Church, and the pope must be a member of the Church; and also because a public heretic must be shunned by Catholics, and the pope cannot be shunned by Catholics. The pope cannot be dismissed from office by any earthly authority, because he has no superior on earth. He therefore loses the papal office by being directly removed from the papacy by Christ, the head of the Church, who is his immediate superior. Since the reason for this removal is his committing the crime of heresy, he loses the papacy as soon as he commits this crime, with no further action required by himself or by the rest of the Church. Since he ceases to be pope, he no longer possesses papal authority. Catholics are not bound to believe or obey him, and the Church must proceed to elect another …More
"So Francis, who despises the papacy (and may indeed be an anti-pope), will lead this “penitential celebration” in St. Peter’s Basilica to effectively condemn those who practice what the Church has always taught — he is, in essence, making reparation to Satan for Catholicism’s offenses against hell."
"Satan has entered the sanctuary, and assisted by people in power who call themselves Catholic has filled it with abominations. From within the sanctuary itself he wages war against us, an atrocious war, the most dangerous war the Church has ever seen... Because it is to his advantage to fight us from within our fortifications, he wears the Catholic uniform and bears the Catholic name".
An excellent eye-opening letter. I just wish all this data would have been revealed fifty years ago, and perhaps some of the recent damage could have been avoided.
Chapter CXL from the excellent and fundamental research of Dr. Carol Byrne. All previous chapters are available through the links at the bottom of the web page.
@Father Karl A Claver you must have the counsel of really good priests. Sadly, some I have come in contact with just look at abortion as a mild tragedy - i.e. that's it's unfortunate that a woman would be forced to resort to it and we need to show them support and accompany them in their choice. And that's the best opinion. I know one priest who was visibly angry when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. He said that he thought we were beyond that and need to stop obsessing over abortion!! Taking his cues from Francis.
Maria Guarini - one of the signatories of the "Call for the Resignation of Pope Francis" - says that the fundamental flaw in this document is that it does not clearly denounce the rotten nature of Vatican II which is the main source of the current problems, an element that cannot be further hidden.
"So we have a church promoting Satan’s agenda — the Synodal Church —attacking the Catholic Church. It is a dark sign, but one that tells us which side we must choose. Catholics of good will might disagree about how to respond to this sign, but it seems that some fundamentals of the proper response are fairly evident: •We should adhere to the unadulterated Catholic Faith as it existed prior to Vatican II (even though we know the infiltration and corruption began well before the Council). •We need to reject all of the anti-Catholic errors about which the pre-Vatican II popes warned, many of which have found a home in the Synodal Church. •We should petition God’s grace and mercy as best we can, using the means all Christians have always employed to do so: prayer, penance, and avoidance of sin. •Whatever we think of Francis — anti-pope, worst pope in history, or false prophet — we can no longer have even the appearance of following him when he does anything other than promote unadulterated …More
Indeed, almost every time the conciliar church starts talking about dignity, it says erroneous, heretical, or at least ambiguous things about it. For this reason, such texts usually have the value (dignity) of garbage. On the other hand, the document that will be published on Monday will probably contain a couple of right things, because, as Tucho promised, it will be something reassuring (sedative or soporific?) for Catholics (i.e. it will be something in the style of the modernists - two steps forward, to hell, and one step back).
Is There a Connection between Divine Mercy Devotion and Dignitas Infinita? catholicesquire Could there be a connection between John Paul II's Divine Mercy Devotion and the new document the Vatican will be issuing on "Infinite Dignity?
