Catholic men in Northern Ireland started in October a monthly men’s Rosary Rally. At the November 6 rally, eighty men knelt in the rain, CatholicArena.com reported. One spoke of an “unbelievable experience,” calling this "the most impressive thing I have ever been at." Women on the periphery were moved to tears at the scene. These public displays of the Catholic faith have taken off in Poland in recent years, with crowds regularly throbbing the streets of Warsaw and other major cities. Similar rallies were also held in the USA. #newsTebrzgrjro
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave Francis during their September 12 meeting in Budapest the letter of Hungary's King Béla IV (+1270) to Innocent IV. Béla warned the pope in 1250 of the Tatar-Mongol invasion calling for the unity of the Catholic nations. He was ignored. 35 years later Hungary fended off the Tatars with great bloodshed. While Orbán was implicitly referring to the ongoing Muslim invasion into Europe, Francis urged in his only seven hours visit to extend the arms towards everyone - except Roman Rite Catholics, of course. Several news agencies noticed that Francis and Orban took their seats several meters apart, a generous but necessary safety distance since Orbán is a Christian and Francis a conformist. #newsLudfgmuxka
