God created the world so that his creatures could live in it perfectly. It is no coincidence that the earth has an electric charge on its surface. God wanted it that way. If there were no electrical charge on the surface of the earth, the Earth would look much more like the moon or the planet Mars... People who are electrically separated from the earth with shoes with insulating soles do not realize not that they are deprived of a natural and vital electrical contact under their feet, and they deprive themselves of it through ignorance. If people knew that people's health depends on their physical contact with the Earth, they would more easily find solutions to a multitude of health problems. A good way to do this on a daily basis is to first take a one meter zinc plated steel rod like the one that looks like a very long screw and cut it into two parts, and drive one outside near the house at a depth of only 30cm. Attach a steel wire to the top, and connect it with a simple electrical …More

Bishop Emeritus Dimarzio Leads Mass On Feast of St Peregrine, Prays for Cancer Patients The Diocese of Brooklyn prayed for cancer patients, holding a Mass on the feast day of St. Peregrine, the patron saint of those affiliated with cancer, on Wednesday, May 1. Brooklyn Bishop Emeritus Nicholas DiMarzio anointed the sick while leading the Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Bayside, Queens. During his homily, Bishop DiMarzio said there was nothing wrong with the people of faith praying for Saint Peregrine's intercession to find a cure for cancer. He explains the 13th-century saint is here to help. Those present were also able to venerate a first-class relic of St. Peregrine, a fragment of his bone. There will be another opportunity for faithful and their families fighting cancer to pray for St. Peregrine's intercession. Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus and cancer survivor himself, Bishop Raymond Chappetto, will celebrate a Mass of healing on Tuesday, on May 7 at St. Joseph Church in Astoria …More

5 Important ways to emulate the Virgin Mary this May on 05/04/24 With the month of May being dedicated to the Blessed Mother, here are ways to honor her by imitating some of her many virtues. The month of May is full of joy. It’s a moment when spring blooms at its best, the evenings become longer, and since medieval times in the Catholic world, the Virgin Mary is celebrated for one whole month — which can be referred to as Tricesimum, a 30-day devotion to the Mary. As part of this devotion, individuals can look to the many virtues of the Blessed Mother and try to echo them. Here are just a few ways you can try and take inspiration from Mary in your daily lives that can last throughout May and beyond. 1 ACTS OF COMPASSION Channel Mary’s compassion by reaching out to someone in need. Whether it’s volunteering at a local shelter, offering a listening ear to a friend in distress, or simply smiling at a stranger, embodying compassion fosters connections and spreads warmth in the world. 2 …More

An altar server at San Dominic Savio Parish, Archdiocese of Bogotá, Colombia, observed in April during Communion that a woman was taking the host with her hands, bringing it back to the pews and sharing it with her pet which was with her in the church. At least the dog didn't take the communion with his paw. In his sermon on 28 April (video below), the parish priest, Reverend Laureano Barón, called it a "sacrilege" and urged the anonymous woman to go to confession with the bishop, who alone can absolve this "grave" sin in confession. Rev. Barón has nothing against it when the faithful take communion with their hand, but they should put it into their mouth in front of the priest. He also mentioned a mother who took a piece of her host and gave it to her little boy, who had asked for it "to know what it tastes like". Strangely, the priest is surprised: "It seems that we do not understand that we are facing the greatest miracle in the world". But then, Barón himself distributes communion …More
