OK, so my original post was sarcastic...but now I have to give Bishop Aymond credit. He called the matter "demonic" and "obscene" and had the altar removed and burned. A somewhat more Catholic response.

Bishop Aymond used the phrase "very troubling"? Isn't that kind of harsh? The phrase has a negative connotation.
As a modern American bishop, he should have described these "situations" with a more nuanced and less judgemental phrase -like "concerns" or "merit some closer scrutiny". After all, he's referring to incidents that DO carry a distinctly "LGBTQ" subtext and he mustn't offend anyone. ;-)
