The former Pontifical Academy for Life, now the Pontifical Academy for Death, has betrayed its founder, John Paul II, and its first president, Professor Jérôme Lejeune, said George Weigel, John Paul II's biographer and neo-conservative warmonger, at a conference on bioethics held in Rome on 17-18 May.
As an example, he cited the book with the euphemistic title "La Gioia della Vita" ("The Joy of Life") published by the Academy in February. It contains a prologue by the homosexual activist Vincenzo Paglia, who is also a Vatican archbishop and president of the academy.
The authors of the articles in the book attempt to whitewash contraception, medically assisted procreation and euthanasia suicide.
Weigel describes the book's authors as "dissenting from the authoritative teaching" of the Church, and formulates the truism that the book espouses an "anti-biblical and anti-metaphysical anthropology" that would have been " completely foreign, indeed abhorrent, to both Jérôme Lejeune and John …More

The good thing about St. John Paul II, through his doings and omissions, all the snakes who were working in the shadows, as it right now, ARE proud to show their faces, they no longer are that chaff which seek to undermine everything and anything, they are showing their faces, as they feel protected.

In many things JPII did error after error, but so did Peter the 1st pope, Peter did repent and JPII, if he ever did (because we never knew publicly), only God knows.

I, despite that, love him and Benedict XVI as well, they couldn't stop the chaff, they let the false Church take over. Hopefully theyve found contriction and absolution. 🙏

The good thing about JPII is that he is only a Bergoglian saint in the modernist meaning of the term (i.e. he was faithful not to God but to his own ideas/religious experience), not the real one, in the Catholic sense of the word (including heroism of virtues pertaining to obligations of his state).

It is easy to judge him as he is dead, to me he is a saint... for others a traitor. I do thank him anyways.

JPII gave birth to Francis

Would Weigel notice?

@John33 What nonsense. You don't understand a .... thing about the greatness of JP II

@john333 More nonsense from the sedevacantist bishop Sanborn. What would you expect...?

@john333 By the way, I sometimes listen to Bishop Sanborn. He criticizes all "traditional" Catholics who do acknowledge the errors of Francis, but who nevertheless remain in the Church. "What solution do they offer?", asks bp. Sanborn. He sees the "solution" in secession from the RC Church in order to preserve the Catholic faith. That is exactly the mistake. "What solution do they offer?", asks bp. Sanborn. He sees the "solution" in secession from the RC Church in order to preserve the Catholic faith. That is exactly the mistake. The sedevacantists (SSPX among others) want to craft a solution that only God can give. Schism only injures the Mystical Body of Christ and is humanly speaking irreparable. The "solution" to the Church's current situation is only the Cross: sharing in the Passion of Christ, praying, sacrificing and trusting that God will save the Church. Trust in the Triumph of Mary (who appears only in the RC Church!).
