No Roman Catholic who loves Christ and serves Him faithfully to possible martyrdom would ever hate Jews. Since Christ is their Messiah - it is our view that they are the people forever chosen by GOD so that His only begotten Son, Immanuel, would come amongst His people, enrobed in flesh so that we might learn to know and LOVE Him, seek & serve Him until He calls us to be with Him in the promised Kingdom (the New Jerusalem) forevermore. We see that He loves to the point of the shedding of His own Blood, so that we might be redeemed and never know the eternal death of the damned. Such is His massive Love. Who would hate when we are shown love such as this? Redemption for those dead in sin, is not possible without being granted - by the shedding of His blood for the forgiveness of sins, the chance of redemption by Himself the spotless Lamb. Unlike ourselves, unless we are Saints already, His love is TRUE - He is the Lamb of God, gave Himself up on our behalf, as an atonement for our sins, slain and sacrificed so that ourselves might live. He takes upon HIMSELF the penalty of our sins, so that we might not taste death but repent and emerge spotless, renewed and reborn by His gift of forgiveness as a free gift, so that we don't perish. We are aware, that being the Word, the second person of the Most Holy Trinty, He is Divine, and cannot eternally die! - but WE Can - and DO - if we neglect to obey His strict commandments and practice evil hatred instead of His pure, sacrificial love, - even unto death, death on a Cross, as He taught us, permitting if it is His Will to be placed upon the Cross ourselves in order to sacrifice ourselves to save the live of one unrepentant sinner - who without our intercession, might themselves be doomed to perish in eternal hellfire..

Not only is Christ Jewish - but also the Holy Virgin who is the Bride of the Holy Ghost. Along with themselves, ALL of the early Christians were Orthodox Traditional, practicing Jews. Why, when we are taught to LOVE what Christ is and became, would we do the opposite to Himself as a Church and hate Jews? We would have to hate Christ and His Gospel ourselves! Therefore it is not likely that a person, group or institution would profess themselves to be a Catholic- whilst believing and living contrary to Christ's Gospel - as OUTSIDE His Church there is no Salvation. We choose what we love, we seek to emulate that which we desire to be - since there is no hatred in HIM, then if we are truly HIS, then likewise there can be no hatred within US. Our King is part of the historicity of ancient Judaism, springing from the Branch of David - through the womb of a virgin (as Scripture foretold. )

The reality of anti-Semitism is this. Those that hate the Jews are those that ALSO, similarly hate Christ. Christ haters hate the REAL Roman Catholic Church for the same reason.
If Pope Benedict's hates, as he appears to, the REAL Christ and His Church, as it appears from this interview, then what he professes to believe and teach was anthematised years ago by those who shed their blood for Christ. He fell outside Her with this statement may He repent, get up and start once more to follow Christ. For Christ is TRUE, and the real Gospel and the real Christ are worth suffering and dying for.
