No Surprise: Anti-Catholic German Synod Votes For "Priestesses,", Married Priests etc.

As expected, the anti-Catholic German Synod voted Thursday and Friday to abolish Catholicism.

On Thursday, it approved a paper that aims at reducing the “power” of a diocesan bishop, in contradiction of Vatican II and the institution of the apostles by Christ.

On Friday morning the same ideologists voted (yes: 159; no: 26; abstentions: 7) to call on Francis to abolish celibacy and even to allow already ordained priests to marry. In the afternoon, they voted (yes: 174; no: 30; abstentions: 6) to call on Francis to introduce [invalid] ordinations of women. This vote was followed by a long smug applause.

Speakers at the Synod played on emotions by hyping their “state of shock” caused by the controversial Munich abuse report which also slanders Benedict XVI. These are the same people who only decades before considered the legalisation of pederasty part of "sexual liberation."

The results are not binding, not even for the anti-Catholic German Church Tax Church. They will be dealt with in a further meeting before the end of the Synod in 2023.

To put things into perspective: A vote over the question whether a layperson can "preside a valid Eucharist" would also have received a yes majority at the same Synod.

What was sacred (TLM, Orthodoxy, etc.) is still sacred. What is condemned (homosexuality, priestesses, women deacons, etc.) is still condemned (by God). No vote can change the truth into a lie or a lie into the truth. Don’t follow these “wolves in sheep’s clothing.” They can only lead you to hell.

Deze synode heeft het misbruik schandaal in de pers gebracht, om hiermee de macht te krijgen om de kerk fundamenteel te veranderen. Let op, van het misbruik schandaal is niets waar, er wordt geen priester door de rechter veroordeeld. Het is een puur complot, hetzelfde complot waardoor paus Franciscus in 2013, door een staatsgreep, tot Paus kon worden benoemd.

If I ever walk into Mass and see a priestess on the altar, I will turn around and walk out immediately. I would hope my brothers and sisters in faith would do the same thing. Abomination!

Except for small pockets where the true Faith remains, the "catholic" Church in Germany is now 100% Lutheran in outlook. Thank you, Bergoglio, for doing nothing to stop it. And maybe even approving of it.

This is a repeat of 1930s history except confined to The Church. Germany keeps doing whatever it wants and ignores any protests. AThe rest of the world (in this case Rome) continues to do nothing, further encouraging the Germans. Eventually, at some point, Germany will put this latest schism into practice, all while insisting they aren't schismatics. Their strategy is simple and it's the same one Abp. Lefebvre tried. They're just going to do what they want, hoping that "things have gone too far for it to be stopped." At that point, Rome will either be forced to do something very dramatic and painful (as it did with Lefebvre), or silently admit defeat.

I wouldn't agree because Abp. Lefebvre wasn't trying "to preserve Tradition". He was trying to preserve the SSPX, even if that meant openly defying the Pope and breaking Canon Law. Abp. Lefebvre was counting on JP II backing down and JP II called his bluff. The German Synodal Process here is following the same approach. For now, it's still all words... conferences and position papers and proposals that are meaningless.
They're just approving their own proposals, The Church isn't.

A priest who would like to marry should not become a priest. An ordained priest who would like to marry should leave the priesthood and get married. A priest is married to the Church. The Church is his bride and he the priest loves her with all his heart and all his soul. He takes the person of Christ on the altar in the sacrifice of the Mass. A woman can never do that and should never do that. If Our Lord wanted women priests he would have wanted his most holy mother to be a priestess but no. Our Lady is the mother of the church. That is what Our Lord said from the cross. What Our Lord wants is paramount not what some priests would like to do to change things. The Catholic Church is unique and the true holy clergy should fight to keep it that way.

An emotional Bishop Stephan Ackermann of Trier, the bishops’ representative for questions of sexual abuse in the church, said the basic text on division of power was holding up a mirror for bishops, while another delegate, Father Werner Otto said: “We are at a crossroads. I don’t want to think what will happen if this text does not pass.”
Regensburg Bishop Rudolf Voderholzer repeatedly disagreed with other bishops in the plenary session. On the diocese’s website, he published a statement, part of which he repeated in the assembly, saying he “would like to see a scientific examination of the prerequisites and secret agendas of all the (sexual abuse) studies repeatedly cited here.”
