Kneeling Bishops: Francis Annoyed

Francis concluded his April 27 General Audience apologising that he was greeting individuals while being seated “because this knee of mine is not healing, and I cannot be standing for long periods of time.”

When bishops came to exchange some words, they knelt down next to him to make the conversation easier. But [bad-tempered] Francis got visibly annoyed about this, as TwitterUser CatholicSat is reporting, and wanted them to stand up because ideology ("don't kneel in front of a pope") is for Francis more important than reality.

Mr. Bergoglio himself is responsible for proving us right. He does not fulfill the functions of the Pope.

You may still more be astonished if I say that, even now that my head is grey and bald, I often seem in my dreams to be a long-haired youth, dressed in my toga, standing to declaim a controversial thesis before the master of rhetoric; and, when I wake, I congratulate myself on escaping the peril of making a speech."

You're forgetting something, @michael newman For many Catholics today, the papacy is just like gender-ideology. Fantasy trumps facts. The Pope is whomever they wish it is. Just like their gender is whatever they wish it is. ;-)
You keep writing like this, GTV's Benedict Buddies will start claiming you're a "Bergoglian troll who always defends Francis."More
