Legacy Lives on for NYC Firefighter with School Scholarship
He made the ultimate sacrifice but his legacy lives on. Firefighter Steven Pollard died five years ago while responding to a car crash on the Belt Parkway. But at his alma mater, St. Edmund Prep High School in Sheepshead Bay, there's a new scholarship in his name, proving the people he served, still remember the man they called "The Silent Hero."
