Two weeks after a teenage Muslim tried to stab Ma Mari Emmanuel, the bishop of a self-established community is back on stage.
Before the liturgy, the sanctuary of his church was covered with curtains. Then the curtains were opened and the man stood at the centre of the pulpit, expecting and receiving a standing ovation from his congregation as if in a concert hall.
"I stand for freedom of speech and freedom of religion," he said. Ma Mari Emmanuel supported Twitter.com against the Australian government's request to hide the video of the attack against him.

hristianity is under attack in the United States. America is facing a spiritual battle and the presence of Christianity is diminishing. Candace Owens' conversion to Catholicism signifies a personal journey deeply rooted in the desire to safeguard Christianity in the USA. This decision highlights the significance of preserving Christianity for Christians in the USA. Candace Owens, by addressing this crucial issue, brings attention to a matter of utmost importance for Christians in the United States. We must all strive to uphold and safeguard Christianity, ensuring it remains with God and is not erased.

Evola got a lot right in his criticisms of modernity, but its also important to note his errors concerning Catholicism. He was impressed with Medieval Christianity but abandoned Catholicism in his own time b/c the Catholic hierarchy and intellectuals were willingly adopting modernist principles. IMHO he was correct in his diagnosis of the modern world but wrong on suggesting the solution was a return to pre-modern paganism. The treatment for the disease of modernity is a recovery of Traditional Catholicism.

Everyone has a free will to choose life or death. Everyone has a free will to do good or evil. God does not control the free will of anyone. Such is confirmed by the following Words of Jesus, “You refuse to come to me to have life” (John 5:40). Clearly, they could have come if they wanted to; their problem was they chose not to. “A man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7),
Why do I bring up the subject of the free will?
It is because of the many Prayer Requests that I receive from Catholics who ask for prayers so God will control the mind of their lover so their relationship may result in a marriage.
God does not change the heart of anyone!
While God has determined before creation who your spouse should be in order for you to enjoy a glorious Christian marriage, blessed with a loving spouse and the gift of many children. His choice of a spouse for you is not according to your desires, your judgment, your choice of characteristics, virtues, fame, health or wealth.

Maybe Our Lord carved into the earth the words of Deuteronomy 17:7 which states (as the well written article mentions) that only two first-hand witnesses to the crime — in this case adultery — would be allowed to cast the first stone
Nobody was eager to admit to being an eye-witness to the adulterous encounter. These upright teachers of the Law would no doubt be quite content to say they were first-hand eye-witnesses to Murder or theft, but evidently not adultery. The "eye-witness" would have to divulge why they were there at the event, and who it was that was witnessed with the woman?
To people of High Standing such as the Pharisees, it seems that they were more than willing to heap stones upon the woman - but they were NOT so keen to see the Law was practiced correctly, by admitting they were there as the event was taking place. People would wonder what they were doing there? To admit to being a witness, could place the spotlight on themselves, potentially revealing more than they …More

Cardinal Ravasi: Christ Was a "Layman"

Jesus Christ - the great High Priest (Heb 4:14) and High Priest forever (Heb 6:20) - "was a layman," Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, 81, former president of the Pontifical Council for Culture, said on 24 April during a round table discussion at the Lateran University in Rome, VaticanNews.va reported.
Ravasi made his embarrassing statement while discussing his distinction between "secular" and "secularist" and his rejection of a "theocratic state model".
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states in §436: "It was necessary for the Messiah to be anointed by the Spirit of the Lord at the same time as King and Priest, and also as Prophet".
In §1551 it explains that the ministerial priesthood "depends entirely on Christ and his unique priesthood" and that "the sacrament of Holy Orders imparts a 'holy power' which is none other than that of Christ".

Jesus Christ is first and foremost God the Son. There is only ONE Person in Our Lord Jesus Christ and that Person is the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. He is by no means a creature of any kind. Yes, he united to His Divine Person a humanity, a human nature, body and soul. However, there is only one Personal subject in Our Lord and that Personal subject is and always has been and always will be God the Son. He is the Great High priest, King, Prophet, and Lamb of God, offered for our sins. To call Him a "layman" shows the degree to which apostasy from the Catholic and Apostolic Faith has taken over the Vatican. So many prelates seem to be Arian, or semi-Arian -- all under the influence of Karl Rahner, SJ, and his faulty Christology. St. Athanasius and St. Cyril of Alexandria, pray for us!

Ideological ideas that are "absolutely stupid" are overtaking the political system and leading to wars and oppression, Cardinal Gerhard Müller said in an interview at the "National Conservatism" conference in Brussels last week (full video below).
Political ideologues dream of paradise on earth, and these ideologies have led to hell on earth, including the subjugation and murder of people, the cardinal said.
He explained the truism that the state exists to serve the people, not the other way around: "We are not subservient to the state, we are not slaves to the state."
The modern, democratic state develops "from free citizens". He criticised "dictators of language" who want to control what people say and what they eat. "We are being treated like children," Cardinal Müller said, "We must reject this desire for omnipotence of the ideological totalitarian system."
He warned that the current parliaments [which, it turns out, do not run the countries] want to "change nature". His example were …More
