Dan 2:31-45 King Nebuchadnezzar's dream reminds us to take our time, to build slowly, little by little each day, to reach our goal. And half of the way through, we don't worry if we find it's not fast or effective enough. We continue to move forward one day at a time, one step at a time. Lk 21:5-11 "While some people were speaking about how the temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, Jesus says, “All that you see here—the days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.'" Of course, we saw the destruction of the Temple in 60 AD. But here Jesus goes beyond the earthly sense. What is earthly will pass away, what is of God remains: Love, peace, joy, life. Let us live in this moment and not in the past nor the future, nor for what will be destroyed anyway. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
They only wanted relief. Pregnant women everywhere were searching for a medicine gentle enough to calm their nausea… something to help them rest in a world that never stopped moving. Then came the “miracle”: Thalidomide. A white, elegant pill. Prescribed freely. Marketed boldly. Sold without hesitation. Doctors were told it was perfectly safe. So safe, they claimed, “even children can take it.” No one mentioned that it had never been properly tested. No one questioned the confidence of the smiling pharmaceutical ads. And so the dream began… A woman in London finally sleeps after nights of vomiting. Another in Munich feels peace for the first time in months. Thousands of pregnant women worldwide swallow the little white pill— unaware that something unthinkable is unfolding inside them. Then the due dates came. But instead of the first cry of life… there was silence. A baby born without arms. Another without legs. A tiny girl with fingers like unfinished buds. Dozens. Hundreds. Thousands. …More
Since 1 September 2025, the Greek Catholic Church in Hungary has omitted the 'Filioque' from the Creed during the Divine Liturgy. This decision to abandon a Catholic tenet in order to appease the schismatic Orthodox was announced on Hd.gorogkatolikus.hu. The article argues that, in recent decades, Pope John Paul II prayed with Orthodox patriarchs, omitting the 'Filioque'. It claims that this change is not an innovation, but a return to a text prayed by ancestors. The current version states that the "Holy Spirit [...] proceeds from the Father", which can easily be misunderstood. According to the Western tradition, the Holy Spirit proceeds "from the Father and the Son". The Eastern fathers said, what is also legitimately formulated, that he proceeds "from the Father through the Son". However, the Holy Spirit does not proceed from the Father alone. #newsBihsfdbpvh
According to House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chair James Comer, Maxwell’s lawyers have replied that “she’s not going to answer any questions” He told Politico: “She’s only going to plead the Fifth.” InfoWars reports: Comer went on to say it is unlikely the Committee will send lawyers or staff to visit Maxwell, who is being held in a Texas jail. Russia Releases Proof Egyptian Planes Linked to Erika Kirk Are Trafficking Children “I mean, I could spend a bunch of taxpayer dollars to send staff and members down there, and if she’s going to plead the Fifth, I don’t know that that’s a good investment,” he said. The House Oversight Committee subpoenaed Maxwell to testify, in July. Her attorney has said she will only do so if granted full immunity from prosecution. “[I]f Ms. Maxwell were to receive clemency, she would be willing—and eager—to testify openly and honestly, in public, before Congress in Washington, D.C.,” her attorney David Oscar Markus wrote at the time. …
Father Sean Kopczynki has a wonderful sermon on the Marriage of Cana and how Mary's intercessory role began Her Divine Son's active public ministry! Mary is truly the "Sphere of God's Omnipotence" and She was created to be just that!
Commentary on the Gospel XXVI AND LAST SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite Obligation to preach unpleasant truths. "I beg you, dearest brothers, do not put it in my face that I speak to you so often about that tremendous day of judgment, and if there is anyone who dislikes my way of acting, think of the danger in which I find myself and listen to the Lord, who threatens the priest terribly through his prophet, and says: If I say to the wicked: You will die!, and you do not admonish him and do not speak to him..., the wicked will die in his iniquity..., but I will sue you for his blood (Ez. 3,18-20). And if, despite this, someone says: Why do you preach such hard things to us so continuously? Answer you: because it is better to suffer here a small bitterness and then like the eternal sweetness than to live here in false joy and then suffer endless torments... Hear me, brothers, not to me, but to the Lord in his gospel... Blessed are those who weep, because they …More
This short video is when Putin and Bush met in Washington I think during his first term. Putin will read from declassified documents which was marked top secret. I could barely listen while Bush laughed that evil laugh.
Pope Leo XIV has issued a new Apostolic Letter titled In unitate fidei (“In the Unity of Faith”), calling Christians to renewed "dialogue" and "unity". Released on Sunday to mark the 1,700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, the document contains the usual word salad about "shared foundations" of the Christian faith. Next Friday, Leo XIV and the controversial Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew will visit Nicaea, near today’s Iznik in Turkey. Credo in pluralitatem Ecclesiarum In the new letter, Leo XIV writes that Christian unity is not about “returning” to the past, but about “an ecumenism that looks to the future, that seeks reconciliation through dialogue.” He even speaks - contrary to the Faith in the ONE Church founded by Christ - of a “current status quo of the diversity of Churches and ecclesial communities.” Leo XIV continues: “We must therefore leave behind theological controversies that have lost their raison d’être in order to develop a common understanding and, even …More
en-denzingerbergoglio.com/who-judges- … Proof of the filioque: The Son proceeds from the Father as His Word, and the Holy Ghost as Love: love must proceed from a word, for we do not love anything unless we apprehend it by a mental conception Now there cannot be in God any relations opposed to each other, except relations of origin, as proved above (q.28, a.44). And opposite relations of origin are to be understood as of a ‘principle’ and of what is ‘from the principle.’ Therefore we must conclude that it is necessary to say that either the Son is from the Holy Ghost; which no one says; or that the Holy Ghost is from the Son, as we confess. Furthermore, the order of the procession of each one agrees with this conclusion. For it was said above (a.27, a.2,4; q.28, a.4), that the Son proceeds by the way of the intellect as Word, and the Holy Ghost by way of the will as Love. Now love must proceed from a word. For we do not love anything unless we apprehend it by a mental conception. …More
Trump’s 28-Point Peace Plan for Ukraine: Peace Deal or Trigger for World War III? Patrick seems very upset over this plan and will explain why. (Warning, he swears in this video several times. Unlike him at all). WWIIl Inevitable With Trump's Russia Ukraine War "Peace Plan" I’m Patrick Lancaster. In this report I break down Donald Trump’s new 28-point “peace plan” for Ukraine – the one his team reportedly wants Kyiv / Kiev to accept by Thanksgiving. In this video we go point by point through the leaked framework, and ask the hard questions nobody in Western mainstream media wants to touch: What does it really mean to “confirm Ukraine’s sovereignty”? According to whose laws – U.S., Ukrainian or Russian? Can NATO really stop expanding and Russia legally promise not to attack “neighboring states” while Russian law says Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson are part of Russia? What happens if Ukraine fires a missile at Moscow after signing? Will recognition of Crimea, Donetsk …More
On 8 November, as part of the celebrations of the 75th birthday of Archbishop Bernard Bober of Košice, Slovakia, the Portuguese priest and DJ Padre Guilherme performed an electronic music set outside St Elisabeth's Cathedral in Košice. The event featured lasers, club-style lighting and other party effects. A video of Pope Leo XIV giving a blessing was projected onto the cathedral walls.
Leo looked like he learned a lesson by finally saying "No Comment" to reporters questions on secular issues. He NOW needs to start declining invitations to scandalous events whether it be "climate change" conferences, ecumenical "prayer services", youth Zoom appearances, celebrity PR meetings, laser shows, dinners with trans activists, receiving wicked politicians, etc. Of course, it seems to me, this is exactly what Leo thinks the job of Pope entails!
