Russia is providing Iran with targeting information to attack American forces in the Middle East, the first indication that another major U.S. adversary is participating — even indirectly — in the war.
Cardinal Zen has published a statement on the SSPX going ahead with the Episcopal Consecrations Cardinal Zen seems to be more sympathetic like Bishop Schneider on the topic saying 'Let us place our trust in Pope Leo".
Traditionalists appear to be divided, Hong Kong Cardinal Joseph Zen, 94, wrote today on his blog about the case of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X (FSSPX). He suggests two things to consider: 1. A schism must be avoided with every effort, because it would cause serious and lasting damage to the Church. 2. A serious problem of conscience must also be respected: "How can someone be forced to follow teachings that evidently deny the Holy Tradition of the Church?" Cardinal Zen doubts that a dialogue between the FSSPX and the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith will bear fruit: "Tucho, who intends to undo the traditions of the Church - how could he not hate the FSSPX? He will probably be happy to see them excommunicated!" Cardinal Zen trusts Pope Leo XIV, even though it is he who keeps Tucho as his prefect at the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. Cardinal Zen refers to Leo XIV as "the good Father". "Pope Leo XIV is someone who listens. He understands, and he will help his …More
Shanaka Anslem Perera @shanaka86 JUST IN: The CEO of one of the world’s largest logistics companies told Swiss broadcaster SRF on March 5 that Dubai has approximately ten days of fresh food left. That sentence has not appeared on a single major English-language front page. It should be the headline. Stefan Paul, CEO of Kuehne and Nagel, was not speaking hyperbolically. He was reading his company’s supply chain data. Dubai and the broader Gulf import between 80 and 90 percent of their food. Approximately 70 percent of GCC foodstuffs transit the Strait of Hormuz. The strait has been closed to commercial traffic since February 28. Global air cargo capacity serving the Middle East fell 22 percent between February 28 and March 3, according to Aevean data published through Reuters. Jebel Ali, the port that serves 50 million people across the Gulf and serves as the regional hub through which the vast majority of Dubai’s perishable imports flow, was struck and suspended operations, with partial …More

I keep thinking I have to pass a mosque who had an inman invited who told them to kill the gays. Then soon after two gay bars were shot up. I HAVE TO PASS THAT MOSQUE ON MY WAY TO MASS! I was on my way for my third First Saturday's. I got a huge blow out in front of that place. When triple A came out, the person kept saying what a Miracle it was that I didn't flip. Over and over and over till he left. My Angel as I said before is awesome.

All holy sites in occupied east Jerusalem’s Old City will remain closed this weekend for security reasons, Israeli police said on Thursday, the sixth day of the Middle East war. Israel’s Home Front Command eased some war-related restrictions from midday Thursday, allowing limited activity and permitting public gatherings of up to 50 people as long as they were near shelters. The military said workplaces were allowed to reopen as long as they were near shelters, but schools and other educational institutions would remain closed. “In order to safeguard public safety and human life, all holy sites in the Old City — including the Western Wall, Al-Aqsa Mosque, Temple Mount Complex and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre — will remain closed, and entry will not be permitted to worshippers or visitors of any faith,” a police statement said. The Old City is located in east Jerusalem, which Israel occupied in 1967 and later annexed in a move that is not internationally recognised.
During his time in Peru, Pope Leo XIV promoted women into leadership roles, reports VidaNuevaDigital.com on March 6, citing the book León XIV, portrait d'un pape péruvien (“Leo XIV: Portrait of a Peruvian Pope”) by authors César Piscoya and Véronique Lecaros. In Chulucanas (1985–1987), the young Father Prevost thought that women sustained parish life and began giving them an active place in pastoral work like “evangelizers”. In a second stage, from 1990 to 1999, this co-responsibility became a formation project in Trujillo. There he encouraged his fellow Augustinians to work alongside women with "equal responsibilities" in the two parishes Santa María and Nuestra Señora de Monserrate. Piscoya writes about a certain Alicia Azabache who was appointed coordinator of pastoral work and told Father Prevost that she knew nothing. He replied: “Neither do we… We will learn with you.” He deepened this path later as Bishop of Chiclayo (2016–2022), where he placed several women in charge of …More
… The Universal Call to Christian Perfection A Patristic and Scholastic Essay Poverty, Chastity, and Obedience as the Means to Perfect Charity PREFACE: THE FALSE ASSUMPTION There is an error of comfort that has always threatened the Church from within — more dangerous in many respects than the errors that attack her from without, because it does not announce itself as error but settles quietly into the assumptions of ordinary Christian life and makes itself at home there, undisturbed and unexamined, generation after generation. It is the assumption that not every baptized soul is called to Christian Perfection. This error takes many forms. It presents itself as realism — an honest acknowledgment that most people are not monks or nuns and cannot be expected to live as though they were. It presents itself as pastoral charity — a merciful lowering of the bar for souls who are, after all, doing their best in difficult circumstances. It presents itself as theological sophistication — a …More

The Justice Department has published FBI interviews with a woman who alleged Donald Trump sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager after she was introduced to him by Jeffrey Epstein. The woman told agents Trump hit her after she bit his penis when he attempted to force her to perform oral sex. The FBI spoke to her four times between August and October 2019, after Epstein's arrest, but only a summary of one of those interviews had been included in the publicly released files. The DOJ last week said it was reviewing whether Epstein files had been improperly withheld after Democrats accused Attorney General Pam Bondi of suppressing sexual assault allegations against Trump. Bondi was subpoenaed by Congress Wednesday as Republicans on the House Oversight Committee broke ranks amid mounting frustration at the handling of the Epstein files from the President's own party. The Department announced late Thursday the files had been 'incorrectly coded as duplicative' and therefore …
They will not release many of them. They are too damning. As the ones I have already heard or read. And they are usually redacted heavily. But we learned enough to prove trump and melania are two evil people.
In this video, I’m at the Tomb of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Jerusalem, at the foot of the Mount of Olives. You walk down the ancient steps into the burial chamber, where Mary’s tomb is protected behind glass inside the aedicule. Most pilgrims can only see the tomb—but there is a tiny hidden opening where you can touch the original rock of Mary’s tomb. This sacred place in Jerusalem has been venerated for centuries and remains one of the holiest Christian sites in the Holy Land. If this brought you closer to Mary and to the life of Jesus, may this moment strengthen your faith wherever you are. Subscribe for more holy places from Jerusalem every week.
