Loup Besmond de Senneville published on La-Croix.com (8 April) tips on how to keep a job in the Roman Curia.
He recalls that according to Francis' Apostolic Constitution "Praedicate Evangelium", which came into force in June 2022, priests and members of religious institutes working in the Roman Curia have a five-year term, which theoretically means that they will have to leave the service from 2027.
De Senneville quotes an anonymous Curia insider who says that "this is [another] opportunity for Francis to get rid of people who no longer fit the bill". So the question for Curia staff is: How can I avoid getting the axe?
The informer of de Senneville knows how: "One has to do everything one can to avoid talking about oneself... but let others speak well of you."
He warns that "there are those who talk too much. Some think they're the Pope's spokesmen, while others start criticising him in public," says the Curia insider: "These people don't survive very long."

Tucho Fernández began the presentation of the endless document "Infinite Dignity" on 8 April by reaffirming his support for Francis' discredited propaganda piece "Fiducia Supplicans".
He amused his audience by stating that "Francis has broadened our understanding of blessings" and protesting that "there are these kinds of blessings that do not meet the requirements of those in a liturgical context" - although this theory has long been refuted.
He believes that Francis has the right to invent "blessings" and sees a precedent in Francis' complete rejection of the death penalty.
Tucho Fernández expressed his hope that "Infinite Dignity" would generate as much "interest" as "Fiducia Supplicans", which, however, didn't generate "interest" but a universal rejection.
Asked whether the Church's teaching that homosexual acts are "intrinsically disordered" should be "changed", Tucho Fernández began to talk about formulations instead of content: "It is a strong expression that needs to be explained …More

Kowtowing to the United Nations
Tucho claims that from the beginning the Church, driven by the Gospel (!), has sought to promote "the rights" of all people. He refers to the [hypocritical] "Universal Declaration of Human Rights", strongly rejected at the time by Pius XII, and says that it was "authoritatively" given by the United Nations.
Historically, "human rights" were invented by the French Revolution in 1789 to replace the Ten Commandments and Roman Law (etc.), which are based on duties, not "rights". Rights-based laws end up in conflicting rights, both of which are debatable and decided at the whim of the regime ("judge"). It has never been defined whose duty it is to grant an alleged right, and who must pay or work to make it possible.

Researchers in the Netherlands followed 2,700 children from the age of 11 to their mid-20s and found that only 4% of respondents said they experienced "gender dissatisfaction", down from 11% at the start of the study.
Researchers from the University of Groningen asked participants to respond to the statement "I wish I were of the opposite sex" six times over 15 years, and they were asked to answer with "0" for "not true", "1" for "somewhat or sometimes true" and "2" for "very true or often true".
The study found that 78% remained the same throughout the survey, and 19% became more satisfied with their gender.
"The results of the current study may help adolescents to realise that it is normal to have some doubts about one's identity and gender identity at this age, and that this is also relatively common," the researchers concluded.

The Archbishop of Algiers, french-born Monsignor Jean-Paul Vesco OP, 62, wants deaconesses, he told the Vatican newspaper Osservatore Romano (2 March): "I very much want it to happen!"
"It seems impossible to me to deprive the faithful, and therefore myself, of the female reception of the Word of God [as if ordinary women couldn't 'receive the Word of God']. None of the arguments put forward have ever convinced me" [because I, Vesco, have fallen away from the Catholic faith].
Because he doesn't want to understand, Monsignor Vesco finds it "difficult" to understand the objections against women's ordination.
He accuses the Church of having "a problem with women for centuries", when in fact Vesco has a problem with the Catholic Faith. Vesco fears that it is in danger of becoming "an obsolete Church, not timeless, but anachronistic and old-fashioned in its organisation", when in reality the Novus Ordo Church is putting itself on the sidelines by becoming a branch of the local newspaper, …More

Has anyone stopped to think about "WHY" do we need permanent deacons (or deaconesses) at all?! In many dioceses every year they have a new group of married men in formation for the 'diaconate as it was in the early Church' but I've rarely encountered any in my travels to different parishes throughout the country. They're harder to find than priests - who seem to do most of the ministry in the Church. What exactly is their purpose? What is the need? Why does this have to be allowed for women? I fear it's to de-clericalize the Church. I've even heard people call permanent deacons [not the transitional ones on their way to Holy Priesthood] lay deacons - an oxymoron since they are ordained!

Father Stefan Hörstrup, pastor of St Lamberti's in Ochtrup (6400 "Catholics"), Diocese of Münster, Germany, has only about 20 marriages a year in his parish, he told the newspaper 'Westfälische Nachrichten' (5 April).
It seems that the few couples who want a church wedding are not religious: "If someone doesn't know how a church service works, that's no problem," Rev. Hörstrup explained. He is prepared to give "stage directions".
At these marriages, there is a tendency to forgoe the Novus Ordo Eucharist and settle for a few readings and prayers ("liturgy of the word").
The Novus Ordo "liturgy" of these weddings is mainly decided by the couple. Rev. Hörstrup has seen balloons floating above the Novus Ordo table, and a dog bringing the rings.

Cardinal Raymond Burke told "Fede & Cultura" (2 April, video below) that there is "corruption in the Church". He mentions worshipping Pachamama in St Peter's during the Amazon Synod, or monstrous "art" shows in churches.
Faced with such phenomena, Burke feels "frustration" and a "sense of bewilderment". For him, the solution is "to remain even more with Christ in the Church - to fight".
The Cardinal said that the Holy Mass [as opposed to the Novus Ordo Eucharist] has been an extraordinary blessing for the Church for fifteen and more centuries, but now its celebration becomes more and more difficult "because of the new legislation in this matter".
In visiting different parts of the world, Cardinal Burke has seen that Holy Mass continues to attract many people. The numbers of the faithful are getting bigger and bigger: "They are congregations of people of all ages, but what is very impressive is the number of young families with many children, and also young people who are not yet married …More

Monsignor James Powers, the Bishop of Superior, Wisconsin, has accused Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, a former nuncio to the United States (2011-2016), of "public defamation", reports PillarCatholic.com (decree here).
Monsignor Powers presided over a syncretistic Chrism Eucharist on 19 March, which included a shamanic ceremony in which several women danced around the Novus Ordo table with feathers and drum beats.
Viganò called this a "sacrilegious act that desecrates the cathedral" and said that Mgr Powers was "not a successor of the Apostles, but a servant of Freemasonry" [although the event must be blamed entirely on the Novus Ordo Church, not on anyone else]. He further apostrophised Bishop Powers as "a squalid official of the ecumenical religion" and "a dutiful executor of Santa Marta's wishes".
The accused defended himself by revealing that a similar shamanic ceremony had been performed at his installation as Bishop of Superior in 2016, adding that "Archbishop Viganò was present …More

The apostate James Powers makes excuses for violating the First Commandment with the same baseness as a drug addict would when corrected by a former drug addict. Monsignor Viganò, like most of us, was deceived by the heretics of the Novus Ordo. They made us believe that false ecumenism was to seek the conversion of non-Catholics. And Monsignor Viganò has condemned the errors after Vatican II, he has rectified them and therefore has all authority to condemn them. And Saint John Chrysostom, that is, the author of the “Imperfect Work”, adds: “Laymen are easily corrected, while priests, if they are bad, are at the same time incorrigible” Saint Alphonsus Mary of Liguori on the Priesthood.

I'm confused and googling the 2016 Mass that Bp Powers accuses Vigano of silence over shamans doesn't show anything. Is this Bishop Powers claiming that, as Nuncio in 2016, Bp Vigano, KNEW in advance there would be some shaman, or pagans involved in the Holy Mass and still attended? Or is he saying that Vigano did not know, and afterwards did not censure or criticize being blindsided like that. And if that latter is true, what evidence does Powers have that Vigano did not criticize Powers? By 2016 any one with half a brain in the Catholic Church knew that this Pope would not respond---besides, this Pope was too buy trying to get involved in the 2016 election, supporting Hilary Clinton. And if Bishop vigano had a "talk" with Bishop Powers expressing concern about that 2016 Mass, could it be that Bishop Powers has "forgotten" that discussion? This seems like a witch hunt.

At least 100 consecrated hosts were scattered across the car park of St Peter's Church in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, during an Easter service.
The Rev. Timothy Grassi said the church reported the action to National Park Service law enforcement.
Grassi told CatholicNewsAgency.com (5 April) that he was certain the hosts did not come from his church because they were a different size: "I don't know of any churches that have identified hosts that have been stolen to this extent." He suggested that the hosts were probably not consecrated.

Reverend Johnson Vadakkapurathan of the parish 'Our Lady of Mount Carmel', Chumukedima, Nagaland, India, claims that a Eucharistic miracle took place in his parish.
In March, a parishioner brought a Protestant to a Novus Ordo Eucharist. She also grabbed a host during communion but took it home without consuming it. After a restless night, she returned the host to the church.
Father Vadakkapurathan broke the host into pieces and poured holy water over it to dissolve it, while keeping it in the tabernacle. Days later, on Palm Sunday, 24 March, he opened the tabernacle and allegedly found in the vessel in which he had dissolved the host, a solid surface that was bleeding.
Bishop James Thoppil of Kohima launched an investigation on 27 March.
Most cases of blood-like colouring of dissolved hosts are caused by Neurospora crassa, a type of red bread mould. Another agent responsible for the "bloody bread" effect is Serratia marcescens, a type of rod-shaped bacteria.

As announced by MessaInLatino.it, on 6th April, Francis transferred Cardinal De Donatis, 70, from Vicar of Rome to the meaningless Apostolic Penitentiary. He replaces Cardinal Mauro Piacenza, 79.
Auxiliary Bishop Libanori of Rome has been transferred from his diocesan duties in the diocese of Rome to become Francis' "assessor" for consecrated life, another meaningless position.
This demotion is reportedly a punishment for Libanori investigating Father Marko Rupnik and finding him guilty, while Francis wanted to cover up the investigation.
As an aside, Francis also appointed the allegedly homosexual poet José Tolentino de Mendonça, Francis' Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, as a delegate to the Eucharistic Congress in his native Portugal.
This year's sentimental and egomaniacal Stations of the Cross, supposedly written by Francis, were very much in Mendonça's style.

According to MessaInLatino, on 6th April Cardinal Mauro Piacenza, 79, of the Apostolic Penitentiary, will be replaced by Cardinal Angelo De Donatis, 70, the Cardinal Vicar of Rome whom Francis has disempowered with the Apostolic Constitution 'In Ecclesiarum Communion' (31st January 2023), concentrating simultaneously all power in himself.
Francis was so angry with Cardinal De Donatis that he did not even allow him to accompany him on visits to Roman parishes.
Monsignor Daniele Libanori, 70, the current Auxiliary Bishop of Rome Centre, will also be removed and placed in some useless Roman dicastery, perhaps the Dicastery for Consecrated Life.
There are rumours that his removal has something to do with the Rupnik case, in which Libanori has always defended abused women and would have clashed with Francis, the great defender of Father Marko Rupnik.
Francis' motto seems to be: chaos and tyranny until the last minute.

Described as “an atomic bomb dropped on the Roman Curia,” a former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States accused Pope Francis of covering up some Cardinal sins.
I was just sitting on my bunk in my prison cell on Sunday night, August 26, after a tiring day on multiple fronts. I went through the day without a single message on the GTL tablet I was holding. It was unusual, the calm before the storm.

He was presiding over the Easter Vigil last Saturday at the convent of the Sisters in the Santa Isabel district of Zaragoza, where he lived.
